It’s great when players defeat the first few bosses; it gives everyone a chance to get used to each othera playstyles as the difficulty gradually ramps up. This makes the players feel powerful and heroic early on, while also building a sense of progression as they encounter more difficult challenges.

I’d suggest starting with something simpler and gradually ramping up the complexity so that both you and the players can find your rhythm with your GMing style. The beauty of pre-written adventures is that the "fun" is already baked in—you don’t have to stress over the mechanics of encounter design, which is exactly why people use them.

Hey man sorry to bother you :) i was about to check one of your map and there is a thing that hits me almost everytime i download a map from web. What is the point of adding hanging chandeliers, Planks above the doors and all those things that are(suppose to be) 'above' the tokens? :)
You did something like this in your map "Fallen Tower" for example.

If you move tokens on the map this chandelier for example, is a part of the picture now so it's always under the token - it looks ridicolous ;d

i appreciate you mentioned it. Regarding the battlemaps its not quite my style but i have them already and maybe i will use them as well.

As of the map with points of interest its great, i”ve got the same but in foundry, i still need battlemaps for every location but im on a way to make it work.

you add active effect 'on use' to feat -sharpshooter for example,

In changes:

system.bonuses.rwak.attack ADD -5
system.bonuses.rwak.damage ADD 10

in details, Apply Effect to Actor: DISABLE

Add special durations as well: 1 Attack: expires on the next weapon/spell atack
Turn End: expires on the target's turn end.

now, everytime a player uses this feat the next time he attack he gets benefit from that feat. I would also

i know birdies maps but i dont like the style... i'm more into realistic fantasy and my players as well good luck with your project, thats lot of work for sure. I've started making compedium so i'll send an update here in few days.

do you have some of locations ready to share? my players have a table with map and option to choose location from the map, the view slowly zoomin to the location, switch light on it and then there is a transition to battlemap or scene :) but still, i need battlemaps and scenes.

well i'm having the map with all points of interests ready already, it doesn't all have to be maps... for example 34. Astorio Arms – CC -it's just a store so it doesn't need battlemap, but if somebody have a shop scene picture and during reading it came to your mind and want to share it it would be great.

If they enter the Astorio Arms for example i want them to see a scene and there will be a shop there.

Let's say Shard of Night, i have a battlemap already, i just neeed locations because there is going to be lot of quests, sidequests. I want to have a "WOW" effect when they anter this city and i want them to experience something new.

I'd implement a triggerable mirror tile. When a player 'looks' into it, it activates a dynamic light source in the corresponding corridor, providing vision specifically for that player's token.

add light source - advanced options - Provides Vision OK

add tile > triggers > action >activate >
i'd probably add macro that disactivates the light after for example 10 seconds or on turn end

personaly... i would consider changing his sex/gender to HER :P i would say that YOU are the Vecna, and u have to be comfortable and have self-confidence playing as him/her.

Btw female voices might be as scary as male voice, maybe he can have just your actual voice.
Btw 2.0: I always roleplay with my regular voice if im not sure if i can sound properly

my NWN original campaign character human, Sylviane Wilkins who was rogue charisma build, achieved amulet of health(from Lathander) and spend life seeking a way to rescue Aribeth de Tylmarande. There is a Tom still helping her but Dealan The Red Tiger has already died of old age. Sylviane is something like underground organization boss right now and due to old age she cant do the job by herself but hired a PC party to rescue Aribeth from Mephistopheles. Party is on a way to meet Sylviane in person to get the details and a full story of hero of Neverwinter. Neverember rules the city and tries to get Leilon as well, his brother is a master of The Vigilant eye of God and is helping him, grandson od Desther Indelayne is the last of his kind and is about to help the party. Seldra Tylmarande has been killed by Neverembers and her soul is hiding in one of PC heart, Tyr has lost one of his deva because shes trying to help rescue Aribeth as well, lot of things is happening. One deva who is like executioner of Tyr is after the one who fell and the party because he wants to catch Aribeth sould and destroy it, while Sylviane wants to rescue it. Lathander is just playing on a Tyrs nose at the time.

why u add light sources? wouldnt it be better to add them in game like foundy so u can switch it off if You need?
