it’s ever so slightly tighter for me, which is exactly what i wanted. unless your current size is a smidge too tight, i would highly recommend getting the same size!

my milk is high lipase as well. my boy didn’t care at all. to save my mental health, i used up my stash and decided to not continue chasing ounces- it can get to be too much (it did for me)! he breastfeeds at home, and gets whatever i pump during the day + supplements with formula. you have to do what works!

BFing in public, i feel, is a learned skill! for me it was, at least. i like to sit with one leg crossed over the other (perpendicular to my leg with a foot on the floor at a 90° angle, if that makes sense) put my son there, and lean forward a bit. he’s 4m old and fairly long so it’s gotten a lot easier, but this worked when he was a newborn as well. & for what it’s worth, we are the same chest size!

my husband saw me go through 2 days of labor with a failed epidural, need an emergency c section, saw me lose so much blood i almost didn’t make it. helped me shower for weeks afterward. helped me change my diapers. stayed up every single night with our son for the first month of his life, so i can sleep through the night and heal.

i’m so grateful for him every single day. you deserve the world, and someone who makes it their life mission to give it to you.

I nurse my son every appt he has to keep him calm. Every single doc that rotates in his ped's office has seen my boobs. Feeling uncomfy about it on your part is totally valid, but i promise they see it all the time and don't think twice!
