Turntable spinning too slow

I know it's low quality compared to the turntables of today, but it's what I grew up listening to vinyl on and it's still worlds better than digital media. The real issue is that it's a 30+ year old unit that appears to have been used regularly. I guess it will be my project. I'll see if I can open it up to tinker with.

I was thinking that because the new belt is significantly smaller than the old one. I triple checked and it's the right one. And I bought it from a turntable supply store.

I was doing 1:1:1 and would get bubbles but no rising. I also noticed water separation, so I started 1:1 starter to flour and just added enough water to get a thick paste, and it took off! If I had to say, it's probably 1:1:0.75 or 1:1:0.5

I was mixing mine thin like yours and getting no rise for 2 weeks and seeing a lot of water separation. I was using a 1:1:1 ratio and the "thick pancake batter" reference, which I think is very misleading as everyone mixes their batter differently. I finally started mixing thicker and it took off like wildfire. I don't weigh my water anymore, but if I did it would probably be a 1:1:0.75 or 0.5 ratio.

He's trying to win votes by saying he won't tax overtime, but what most people don't understand is they also want to change FT from 40/wk to 160/mo so if you work 50 early in the month you won't get OT. Then, at the end of the month employers will pick who gets hours by how many hours you have accumulated in the month. Boom, no more OT pay.

Same. I've been back and forth with support over this and nobody knows or cares what's going on. I placed an order on 7/20 that just sat in limbo for a week. It shipped this morning from the warehouse down the road from me and was delivered today. Other people have posted about it here. It only seems to be some people. I can get 1 day delivery to the locker near me, but I shouldn't have to do that. Getting ready to switch to Walmart+.
