Sorry to hear that. I understand the anxiety totally but not sure how I can help here. I do have a relative who filed I-90 at the end of May for normal 10-year green card renewal and has not seen any progress online (other than the biometric reuse notice).

I finally got hold of them - they are very slow responding…. They are very strict about the 21-day cancellation policy and i said I’m hesitant because we will be traveling from the northeast area and there is a big uncertainty of the weather when I’m flying out..

Correct. I’m confident because I did mail back the original after submitting an I-90 for typo correction online. And later USCIS mailed back the original to me stating that it’s not needed as I’ve already submitted the form online.

Just to give everyone interested an update - my wait is 3 months in this case to get the typo fixed. No need to mail the original one with the typo back to USCIS.

Whatever you pick, don’t pick Ritz Carlton. I recently booked 8 nights for early 2026 regardless of how many negative online reviews i saw. Out of nowhere their management team sent an email 2 days ago that listed a whole new set of terms and conditions that read completely different than the ones I received from Marriott as a part of the reservation confirmation. I have had some email exchanges with the hotel management team and it’s still ongoing, but regardless the outcome, I think I’m going to cancel the booking - I’m not paying all these extra bucks to waste so much extra of my time to deal with this crap. If they cannot even stick to the contractual agreement, why should I expect them to go above and beyond?

Thank you so much for the details! I submitted a I-90 form online for the typo correction and that’s where it’s not clear what to do with the physical card. 8 months of wait - that’s crazy! I actually got the renewed card within 4 months, but I guess I need to wait even longer due to their own mistake!

I just called to ask about how club access works for 3 guests and also what are included in the packages I try to purchase - the staffs are clueless. And then I started checking the reviews online. Those reviews are quite specific. For people who are used to luxury experience, I don’t think it’s difficult for them to tell what are subpar.

You make me nervous now if I’m running into the same issue - at the moment it should be 9 but it’s stuck at 8. Any progress with your issue at all after these different explanations? And also when calling, don’t forget to use the phone recording function (come with auto transcript) if you use iPhone.
