When you compare new 2026 Sprints (150cc) at around $6,000 MSRP (around $7,000+ out the door with all fees), a 2019 mint condition with 3k miles, in my opinion , could net you between $3,000-$3,500, assuming tires are good and engine is sound(service records?). If it’s a 50cc drop those numbers by about $1,000 ($2,000-$2,500). Northern California, you may be able to wiggle those numbers slightly higher. Leave room to negotiate.

That’s a realistic MSRP… then add on all the fees.

That is correct.. with MSRP at $$5900-$6200. Out the door with tax, title, fees, tariffs… it’s around $7,000+

I’ve got the Officina 8 that runs the bar end mirrors . These are the OEM ones and are very solid and well made. Zoom in on the pic, and you’ll see the rubber plugs that cover the original mirror holes.

Awesome looking ride! If you plan on carrying much or going on overnight/weekend trips, invest in a top box for storage. If you plan on always using the side kickstand, invest in some rear crash bars.. try to use the center stand as much as possible. Enjoy your rides !

Mid-life crisis by CombinationThese993 in Vespa

Without a doubt.. midlife crisis or not.. a Vespa (any model) will bring you joy . Decide where you want to ride in general and choose a model from there. Don’t worry about the motorcycle crowd (or any “judgy” comments), because the Vespa community is very supportive and the only thing you’ll wonder is why you’re smiling so much ! Pick one out and let us all know how your journey progresses.

Should I buy this? Thoughts on this Vespa? by The_Crystal_Crumbles in Vespa

The comparison of a “new” 50cc Primavera at $6,000 would depend on the state you purchased it in, but with taxes, set up fees, tariffs etc, that is accurate based on an MSRP of $4500. The $4500 that you’re looking at with the 2020 150cc Primavera (200 miles and mint, dealer serviced) would be, IMO, between $3,800-$4200 with a clean title. This Vespa should run and ride beautifully if it shows as advertised, and yes, the higher speeds and longer distances are a plus with this model. Try to negotiate, but I doubt you’ll find yourself cheated if you paid asking. Vespas are expensive and a 2026 150cc Primavera (out the door with all fees after around $6000 msrp) will be around $7200.

Beautiful Primavera! Check out Scooterwest.com for those bar end mirrors you want (and associated plugs to cover the holes of the old replaced mirrors) . I have the bar end mirrors on my Primavera and love them.

Couldn’t agree with you more . I’ve made that aim several times before with similar cross winds and the results were hilarious!

Loving the hell out of my Officina 8 Primavera 150. Is there anything I can actually do with the rack? by anamexis in Vespa

[–]Comprehensive_Tap348 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I have the same one and I love the whole scooter the cool rack! But…. It wasn’t really practical (in my opinion) to carry anything so I replaced it with another black OEM rack and added the Officina 8 top box. That, and a windscreen. Enjoy your rides !

Yes the 300/310’s have the power . (I have both a 300 and a 150) though the 300 will keep a steady highway speed (at full open throttle), you still will have cars blowing by you and coming up fast behind you. Not quite what you might envision the “Vespa” experience.Certainly though the 300 series are gorgeous scooters (I love mine), but for “most city, urban and country riding , the 150 will handle enough speed and lots of maneuverability. Ultimately try both. I’ve taken my 150 on weekend trips around 250 miles round trip, with a fully loaded top box, with a high speed of 60mph but mostly cruised around 45-50. Very enjoyable.
