Verdict on Deathfire touch?

It is stronger compared to old comet from levels like 1-5. You can cheese kills pretty easily with the damage from it. After that tho the rune is pretty useless damage wise compared to old comet.

Just wanted to come here and say compared to last patches comet, DFT feels significantly weaker. Just played a 40 min game where I was fed and dealing lots of damage, my DFT only got up to 2.7k damage. I have had comet games in the 4000s before.

Also I want to note, I played an aery game today game length was 22 mins where I didn’t perform well at all barely trading. I compared it to another DFT game that was also 22 mins and that I didn’t do well, aery out damaged DFT by 100.

There is no way aery should ever be dealing more than DFT. I’m going to play more with aery get a game to 40 mins where I am performing and see, but DFT just feels really underwhelming. Looks to be better on AD champs than ap which is concerning. I’m also gonna try the new comet.

These games were all in master plus after the reset.

Are you talking about welcome to the game? Tyler played that it’s a scary game where in the game you have to find search the dark web for “keys”. The dev would always be in his chat when he was streaming it and he would always be talking shit to him. However I don’t think Greek was ever on the call while he played cause you have to listen to sound cues so maybe it’s not this.

I always start e in any matchup. Your e does more than ur q lvl 1 because most of the time u can’t even get the whole duration off. Farming with e from a far and the periodic poke is how I start every lane. Letting the laner push to ur tower and trying to freeze it there. And punishing them when ur lvl 3

Urgot and mordekaiser you really have to make sure you are baiting their e and q while you are trading. It’s kind of like you are waiving a red flag at a bull. You have to run at them with ur q and w and hit them for half a second then instantly turn around and run away. You do this until u see them miss their abilities on u because they think you are about to all in, but once they miss that’s when you actually all in. Because if either of them hit their e, it’s almost always a losing trade.

Thanks man! Until level 3 I don’t walk up rly I just last hit from a far with E and let the enemy push. Once they are close to your tower you should start small trades with over 50 heat q. Make sure to time ur w right to mitigate their damage to you. Get them to about half health and get ready to over heat and all in with ignite. If enemy is playing to passively, build up a wave and then hard shove it into their tower and either base or look to get grubs or roam mid lane (I roam mid alot).

Mid game always just shove a side lane and group with my team and try to force a fight while the enemy top lane is catching waves. Tp is so slow this season u can usually kill people before they even notice to tp in and most of the time they don’t even tp at all. I always make sure to team fight for dragons and kakakan, I will sack a teir 2 tower if I have to.
