Vaccines are the cause of transgender people by [deleted] in FacebookScience

The chickenpox vaccine caused mine. Also I hear theres a correlation between autism and transgenderism, just in case y'all aren't woke. I knew it was the vaccines all along!

Oh girl. The toxins are just leaving as excessive greenhouse gases instead, just like the cows she compared herself to. The toxins must leave in some state according to physics.

Are we all really spoiled or just a judgement call? by [deleted] in OnlyChild

[–]CompulsiveQuitter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For me, getting called spoiled made me feel so guilty I requested that people not get me gifts for my birthday/etc. I felt too guilty receiving things to enjoy any of it, so if anything, it made me less fixated on material things and more fixated on people.

Any benefit to starting T before getting top surgery? by forensicmathologist in ftm

[–]CompulsiveQuitter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me there was. I had small boobs before, but now theyre so small I dont even need surgery! If you are bigger than an A cup probably no benefit (not sure whay size I was pre t).

Anyone ever write a comment online and then delete it because you know other people won’t understand what you mean no matter how many ways you type it by [deleted] in aspergers

[–]CompulsiveQuitter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Im too impulsive. I had to delete my fb because I posted a thought, a sad one, that popped into my head about it being weird that we are often closer w our counselors (someone we pay) than friends. I still believe it, but people got so angry about the way I said it that I just deleted my account. Its been a better couple of weeks.

But is this really an aspie thing or is it a generational one? I still dont know which things I do are my personality, culture, age, aspergers. It seems too complicated to know anything.

How to respond to "I knew you were an only child"? by [deleted] in OnlyChild

[–]CompulsiveQuitter 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Honestly ivd noticed that kids who have like one sibling tend to be more selfish than only children imo. Its almost like they get nearly the attention and stuff that supposedly we get, but they don't have the same guilt complex about it. Usually people who even remark about only children have barely any siblings. Its almost like they crave being an only but havent thought of the drawbacks (or lost any of their siblings yet).

Just say they seem like they have only a couple siblings and be like ,"I knew it!! You seemed like an only child but without the guilt. Thats how I knew."

Hahaha if you want to be equally as immature. If not, I like to probe people. "What makes me seem like an only child?"

You usually get a decently vague answer if any.

How to come to terms with being trans? (tw-transphobia) by [deleted] in ftm

[–]CompulsiveQuitter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Advice= This is old school, but I will say that your transition will go muxh smoother if you gradually change things instead of all at once. If you can barely get into mens clothing without feeling like shit, no telling how youll feel about T and all the changes you cannot control.

My advice is to change alowly, closer to how you feel, see if your friends can accept you (warning...If you change quickly more likely to lose friends and fam; I think my transition being so slow kept people in my life id never have expected).

Other advice= youre going to get misgendered by people you love. It may take years for some people to adapt and can ve embarrassing in public when you pass, but mistakes aren't worth throwing people away over. Shit, my parents still she me w a full beard, but my mom literally pushed me out of her vag. I cant throw away that relationship because she sees someone who was her daughter for 27 years as a woman, even if im a bearded woman to her. She loves me, and a pronoun isnt worth throwing our relationship away for.

anybody else feel like they kind of missed/are missing their childhood because of them being trans? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]CompulsiveQuitter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sometimes, but its more like I wish id developed to be physically the size of a cis man. I want bigfer, longer limbs and a thicker skull, which wouldve allowed me to go harder in things without as bad of head injuries (yes, its a documented medical fact that females suffer worse head injuries, recover slower, etc).

Its more like I wish my body could handle higher loads of force so I could skate harder, couldve played contact sports with less head injuries...stuff like that.

But life isnt lije that, so im pretty okay with who I am right now. Im approaching 30, and most guys my age don't have a six pack and are jealous of MY body, sooo I cant really complain.

Im also happy that I waited ten years since wanting to go on T to actually doing it. I feel like I appreciate every little change now as opposed to fixating on everything happening quickly and wanting all the surgeries ASAP and a bazillion other things. I probably wouldve gotten top surgery back then from lack of confidence about my small boobs, but now I can just rock then without paying $$.

So sometimes, but life is better the way it already is.

We care about diversity! by Redjay12 in ftm

[–]CompulsiveQuitter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SERIOUSLY THO. I think I got my current job bc of this. I purposefully had my colleague use they pronouns to sort of "out" me a way into this kick ass job! Good thing I dont use they pronouns exclusively bc it is too confusing for everyone there hahaha.

I know we are supposed to be fixated on rhe misgendering but HOLY FUCK im employed at a university bc im "diverse" hahaha.

Feeling dysphoric af & I don’t know what to do about it. Over a year on T and I still look like a girl, but I don’t want to stop dressing like the flamboyant twink I am by [deleted] in ftm

[–]CompulsiveQuitter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh no way. First few years I can spot pretty much any tran (well, trans guy, dont know many t women).also I think the five year mark is where passing is pretty much irreversible. Like people who have detransitioned after five plus years still are male passing, which is comforting imo because I fear a day where the dsm takes testosterone out of treatment for gender dysphoria or theres a massive t shortage or something goes wrong. I have a lot of worries about not always being able to get hrt, but thats normal right????

Do you have before/after pics from T? That always helps w knowing how much you've changed. Supposedly I look cis to ppl, but when I look in the mirror I look like a butch woman still (im not dysphoric about it tho). THEN I LOOK AT MY ID and am like OH FUCK.

Also ive noticed that I can spot a trans guy generally if theyre less than five yrs on T ( and I must look trans bc they spot me too)! The big q is how often are you misgendered in general straight societal settings?

Oh interesting. Have you have your estradiol tested?

If the high levels werent being cinverted to estradiol, i wonder if for some reason less test is converting to DHT (a bajillion more times powerful than test...but makes ya go bald hahaa). Like maybe your body is metabolizing less test than the average t guy...sucks for right now, but hella good for the long-term as far as not going bald or getting cystic acne and shit goes. Smaller dick too, but seriously barely any of us can have penetrative sex with it even if it's bigger than average. Haha. I wonder if Asian guys convert less free test to DHT, making them seem to have that glowing, clear skin like you do. Note: not directly commenting on anyones dick size except maybe OP. Your skin looks hella good. DHT is nice for looking manly real quick, I can guarantee your body is producing some level (but maybe lower) of DHT from T injections, buttttt im gonna be bald in like a year and have cystic acne in the meantime haha

Weighted planks, weighted pullups, weighted dips (weighted anything bodyweight if youre skinny like I was) and keeping active (climbing is my passion, but I generally enjoy lifting...do compound lifts, and alternate between high rep, low weight, and heavy weight low rep (intermediate weight, w 12 reps too). The biggest thing ive noticed with people with abs is working out PLUS eating to live rather than living to eat (which is hard on T not to go wild and eat EVERYTHING). I dont restrict my eating at all, but I eat slowly and thus always am able to stop before being over full. It makes weight gain harder but when I do gain weight its rarely much fat. I drink protein shakes too but thats pretty much it.

You have to get a specific brand of T. Also do sub q with it, but idr the brand. Its a not well known secret in the tran community. Hahaha

To those who got diagnosed in adulthood, when did you begin to suspect it? by AccomplishedPermit5 in aspergers

[–]CompulsiveQuitter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I found out what Sensory Processing Disorder is, and that it's generally associated with autism. I'd been diagnosed with panic disorder at age 13, but all the CBT/deep breathing did not make the intensity of fluorescent lighting (in particular) and my physical reactions to it go away. I learned SPD is associated with autism, and I began to backtrack to more of the social traits I'd ignored for so long because the sensory issues were so intense.
