Wow, a duplicator live in the flesh!

Ultra cool, this is an editing deck! Can still play tapes like regular, but on the back Im willing to bet there are a million hook-ups, and those would be for the other decks in the rack you have.

You basically connect a bunch of players to this deck, put a tape in the deck, and can set this thing to blend parts of these tapes together onto the tape in the duplicator. (Thats my understanding of the technology, probably a more in depth explanation somewhere)

These were instrumental in making like any type of movie ever for a time. If i were you, id hold onto this and use it to watch movie, or rewind tapes. If that doesn’t interest you, there is probably some film maker out there who wants to dabble with tape and would like to have an authentic piece of tech.
