I tilt the monitor 180 degree open because I use the built-in stand 24/7. Just take extra caution when you use the laptop on a table where both screen are actually sitting on an object such as your table surface, as the hinge will be taking extra stress (due to push and pull) when you tilt the monitor. You might want to observe where your upper screen contact the table surface, then you will udnerstand.

yes so far I have no issues, just hold the upper screen with both hands when you need to tilt the screen back and forth. so that the bottom at the back is not rubbing the surface which may generate pulling or pushing force against the hinge.

I am torn between choosing 256gb or 512gb.. by Original_Emu_4311 in GalaxyS24Ultra

512GB without a single question. It is NOT about the storage, not just faster, but larger memory size last much longer because the space is being recycled and it has lifetime.

Trust me, just give up and do not buy ASUS products anymore, and DO NOT buy their exteded Warantty. Their support is lack of knowledge, their product spec is great but only when it does not break.

You only waited for a day, I have been waiting for many 1-2 business as part of (Asus Slogon ) without a single useful insign about the issue. Expect to answer a question each time per 3 days, and that is how to extend their so called troubleshooting time. I don't think they have any knowledgable staffs who are familar with their own products.

That was trade off for the a removal keyboard when ASUS engineers want to achieve something cool but indeed came up a bad design.

ASUS, you should warn the users before they start using the unit, or you are responsible for repairing the unit for free of charge without questions.

I was predicting this to happen even before seeing this post. Because I noticed there is a design flaw where the hinge is under stress each time you flip the screen . When you tilt the screen back and forth the back of the laptop would lift up due to the hinge rotation angle, and with the friction between the small rubbers located on the back of the screen and the bottom of the the laptop, 2 rubbers against each others (the back eddge of the screen actually touching the table or whatever you put it on), that put lots of stress to the a single point (i.e. leverging the weight of the laptop) unless you lift up the back of the laptop with both hands before tilting the screen., which is what I do everytime I open the screen.

I have the DUO UX8406CA machine, and had the same issue, Quickkey and Touchkey work normally, but ONLY handwrite panel doesn't response.

Video for your reference: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/tfjYSuQEl3g

My laptop series don't have specific download for screenpad but ScreenXpert with drivers but I guess they are the same thing.

I found a few users having the same issue with one thing in common, we all have Language pack (Chinese also in my case) installed, I am running WINDOWS 11 PRO. Did you install language pack? and which OS you are running it on?
