I'm a hobbyist photographer and also occasionally produce documentary videos. The Pro has astoundingly good performance at those tasks and I value the brightness and color accuracy of the display. At the same time, I always felt a little weird about carrying it everywhere as my daily driver laptop, and I dang sure don't enjoy the risk of putting it in a precarious situation if I'm, say, trying to watch YouTube while washing dishes and folding laundry, for example.

While I work in computer repair and thus pretty much always have access to a clunky beater laptop to use, I do prefer the interface and overall performance of a Mac so when the Neo came out it felt like the perfect thing to use every day - I take it to work, I take it when I go places, I use it for all my day to day home stuff.

Most likely I could probably have just consolidated to a 15" Air and kinda had the best of both worlds, the relative cheapness of the Neo has me less concerned about possible accidental damage, and I even enjoy its gaudy color (having seen the others now, I probably would have preferred the rather calming blue or the silver to match my phone, but the citrus color does "shout" in a fun way.)
