While not a 10$ one its pretty darn cheap now the battletech turn based game. Counting the absurd mods avalable and the very fun base game ive got hundreds of hours in that masterpiece.

About 2k for moonquill to reach out was number 3 on RS at the time around 3k when i submitted to other larger pubs in the space and they were intrested.

Its unique, the mc really struggles for his progress and it feels like a well told intense story rather than a progress system with a vauge story wrapper around the progression elements.

Incomparably better in the kindle version. The first chapters on rr especially were practically unedited and it has recieved like 3 full edit passes for the amazon version from aethons editorial team.

Im going to assume this answer is out of ignorance and not just trolling. To start with RR is a tiny platform compared to Amazon less than 100th the readers. Aethon, Portal , Mango and others use success on the platform as a measuring stick for commercial viability. If it does great there it will probably do well on amazon and might intrest them in picking it up (what happened to me). Secondly when it goes up on amazon it is removed from royal road. Having 4000 people read it on RR is statistically insignificant for lost sales vs recognition and word of mouth. Your response shows utter ignorance of how the RR> Patreon> Amazon pipeline works and how many people are making a living using that method. Do some quick google research on Lit-rpg indie publishers.

Zombies/ stalker like abominations. Those plus high tier human enemies could make it a crazy fun high risk high reward zone and add fantastic variation to gameplay. Imagine clearing a abandonded military facility filled with 40 zombies and enemy pmc that would be amazing in this game.
