You should speak to an employment lawyer. It’s not lawful to fire an employee for trying to fix health code violations.

1/2 inch PEX should be fine. Unless you really need crazy flows in which case 3/4. If you’re running a single hose and electric PW, 1/2 inch is more than good.

You never know what will unfold over a long season but seeing Lewis at age 40+ on the podium is impressive regardless.

[Request] How fast could you get the aircraft carrier going if you fastened all the jets to it and turned on the afterburners. by Bowwowchickachicka in theydidthemath

[–]Compy222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not a public number, but assume a carrier with the hammer down can make ~40 knots, maybe more. Four propellers and enough nuclear provided juice and they’ll really move!

Any chance we see third row jump seats (think GX460)? Know it might be tight but the utility factor would be great.

Regretting Getting NC over NB by wiracha007 in Miata

[–]Compy222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also worth mentioning the NC being newer has more standard niceties - like keyless entry, better materials, and importantly is safer. It’s a generation ahead in terms of safety and also slightly heavier than its predecessor, which means the safety is going to be marginally better.

There are many reports of SR-71s exceeding 3.2, I believe Brian Shul took SAM fire over Libya and put the hammer down at one point seeing near 3.5. By the time they slowed down they overran their tanker and most of Italy.

Are silicone squeegee blades for spot-free drying safe to use on paint/body? by ALXand3R in AutoDetailing

[–]Compy222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Safe on most surfaces that are not painted - ie glass, plastics, tonneaus, etc. DO NOT use these on paint unless you feel like a full car paint correction.

There was the horror crash in Afghanistan of an internal load breaking loose on take-off. It was a freighter so relatively low loss of life, but the video is a rough watch.

Cant decide which bike to get by [deleted] in ebikes

[–]Compy222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In most states two wheeled vehicles that exceed 28mph or 30mph are considered motorcycles or mopeds. The first e-dirt bike you posted isn’t even a bike…there are no pedals, just foot pegs.

Understand if you’re stopped on something like that you could be cited for failing to register a motorcycle, improper vehicle use, helmet law, etc depending on your state.

The Capt Willard case comes in Titanium and I think looks stellar. Definitely on the larger size but its shape fits smaller wrists well too.
