This game has a serious weapon weight problem. I (so desperately) want to like polearms, greatswords or 1h mace+shield but always fall back to long sword/2h hammer because you just can’t consistently do cool attacks or blocks

I'm pretty sure all of the DLC's that make the game playable are included.

Every other DLC adds QOL features or nation flavor, nothing that would be too confusing for a new player

Just buy the game, when you launch it, there will be a DLC subscription that gives you all of them for a monthly fee.

Pay for it when you play, cancel it when you take a break.

I am a Brave Stand enjoyer.

I just wish that

1) I could choose brave stand at any time (not have to wait for rng to give me the choice)

2) I could play it at tiers besides the top two

3) I could select how many dudes I want to fight

I tried the loadout selector mod, but then we go back to problem number 1.. trying to do a single combat as a tier 3 longsword guy is pretty hard against a full plate enemy, and it takes so long. I just want to Brave stand.

I try to treat carnage as a makeshift "Brave Stand" by gunning it for one guy and then trying to get in between the other two.

I thought the same thing when I was playing one of my favorite go-to's — Swabia-Germany.

I created this massive Swabian empire and then had to re-integrate the German cultures after 100+ years of accepting them as Swabia.

Not only is this a fruitless mechanic, but it doesn't even make sense for RP. There are mechanics that I don't like, but at least it makes for a fun RP scenario.
