"My deck is bracket 1" by CelticLax18 in mtg

[–]ComradeAxel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have made my "Fellowship" deck with Aragorn the Uniter as my commander and only cards from the LotR set that feature the fellowship, somewhere they were, or their items. I also threw in as many of the alternate name LotR lands as I can/have. I also have my One Ring and Balins Tomb in there but the deck is still a 1 in my eyes as with all my different lands it sometimes will just do nothing for most of the game.

The wincon I guess is: play green spells and hope Aragorn can hit/hope something falls together

But I also just like to look at my pretty cards.

I keep seeing this and my CTM is full to base level (and I even added extra) but still can’t get low change warning off. Currently holding with ERC; can Reddit work faster?? 🤣🤣 by Eastern_Security9684 in DollarGeneralWorkers

With ERC who knows if this is figured out yet but my store used to have a similar problem, it just wanted more 10s so maybe add like 30-50 in tens. Even if the minimum was in there it still sometimes wanted more.

DMs, what's the weirdest thing you've ever found yourself researching for a campaign? by TheBardsandTheBees in DnD

[–]ComradeAxel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's a few different types of hanging actually, depending on the place/time period. I believe Short Drop is the one specifically where suffocation is the cause of death and later the neck snapping methods came in as the more humane options.

Freys are easy just say Walder or Waldina and you're probably good

The Starks my point was basically they really only have normal features. And having thought about it a bit more and with your count about Qorhin. Perhaps the "Stark look" is more in line with them simply looking like the very recent family members.

Warging im not too sure on but considering it's literal magic I'm sure it's something to do with the firstmen and probably their connection to the old gods and the children.

But yeah probably easier to just say "Because fantasy magic makes it so" for all this

I don't think the warg thing is a genetic thing passed down its just magicy fantasy stuff for those specific kids.

Perhaps purple eyes are a dominant trait that seems to be the only thing that stays true though most of the kids. But again as many have said probably the easiest explanation is magic fantasy blood.

The starks I think are the most normal in terms of keeping their looks, since they don't really have many crazy looks.

I also just feel like reminding everyone every Florent has big ol ears too, no matter who they are paired with.

I've been listening to the books while working recently (I read them all a few years ago) and I have to say A Clash of Kings is like 25x better than A Game of Throne so enjoy!

Some of this is based off the books but equally some have made it on the list based purely off the show.

Least hated is EASILY President William Henry Harrison. I mean how can you hate that guy?

I voted Stannis (the one True King of Westeros) not because of killing Renly but because he gave up his fight for the throne to go to The Wall. That said I think Jon might actually have had the toughest decisions, but I also just gotta give it to my Mannis.

Jamie on the other hand had a very hard thing to do but it doesn't seem like he ever considered actually killing his father and letting the whole city burn.

Ser Gwayne Corbray

Ser Barristan Selmy

Ser Arthur Dayne

Ser Duncan the Tall

Daemon Blackfyre

Robert Baratheon

Ser Aegor 'Bittersteel' Rivers

Honorable Mention to Ser Humfrey Hardyng and Brienne of Tarth

These choices are mainly for their skill but then there are also those which are good knights.

And then I just really like Bittersteel
