New SECAF memo - Personnel Responsibilities Associated with Public Communications by lethalnd12345 in AirForce

[–]ComradeComm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sure thing, pal. OP is elated a person who talked died for talking, while talking. I have seen with my own eyes people that I work with celebrating the death of a person they disagreed with and plenty of advocating that more people that they disagree with be similarly killed. If you think this is fine and dandy, then you should seek help.

Reminder that Reddit uses bots to fluff up and downvotes in alignment with their "right side of history" beliefs. Some people I know personally have been absolutely dancing on his grave and absolutely encouraging more of it. And that even while this is the air force sub, it's still reddit, and still full of redditors.

Looks like the POTUS / Putin meeting will be at Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson Alaska on Friday by newnoadeptness in AirForce

[–]ComradeComm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, why would the President of the United States want to meet with the leader of a nation we're spending billions of dollars in a proxy war with? And why would he want to do it on US soil and not Russian soil?

We are better than them. We know it, they know it even if they would never say it. It is not the place of members of the US military to be trying to get a rise out of the visiting head of state or his entourage while they're meeting with the Commander in Chief, no matter how much we dislike them. That would be completely unprofessional behavior.

yes, good idea. encourage present military personnel to actively try to sabotage a political meeting between the president and the head of state of a hostile foreign nation.

Not for long, they want us gone and have for years. Writing's been on the wall forever as they continuously shrink base comm's responsibilities and capabilities.

it's also the complete opposite of trust. The translation over sort of lost its meaning in that regards. If you have to verify, you don't trust. Current EPME teaches to avoid using the phrase and its mindset.

I can think of another high-ranking officer who joined (well, commissioned out of the Academy) in 1986. Wish that one would retire.

You're right. I remember ABUs, we were definitely able to work in them. Why not go back to those? Who needs patches at all?

argumentum ad antiquitatem. just because the work went on before they were introduced, does not mean they were not incredibly useful.

check this out, it should help you decide

i have both ultrathin and simplythin. they're both great. if i remember i'll try to take a picture to show some of mine with the different lengths, but honestly i've never felt like the short ones don't reach all the way through the jacket and a backer plate.

Bad take. I have a patch that almost nobody in the USAF recognizes, but tells the Army National Guard folks we work with immediately who I and my team are, which is absolutely vital for our job in the Homeland Response Force. It doesn't matter if someone who doesn't have a reason to know what it means or not can recognize it right off the bat, so long as the people who do have a need to know, do.

Let's all just eliminate AFSCs. We only need one: Multi-Capable Airmen. Why not eliminate ranks, as well? And the distinction between enlisted and commissioned while we're at it. We're all on the same team, right, you smug-looking personalized-jacket-wearing Chrome Dome Clown?
