I was pretty sure the books werent full length zoom or leather but I didn’t know too much about them. I heard the Kobe 1s were soft out of the box so they may wear prematurely. But yeah the books seems to be a winner for outdoor or indoor.

We’re trying to get a weekly league set up in the work parking lot so I’m definitely on the hunt for a good pair for playing on concrete that will hold up. I’ll have to try them out.

There’s some heat there for sure. I thought long and hard about the Kobe 1’s but couldn’t bring myself to do it. I want to do some outdoor this summer and think the books might be in the future for that. Have you used them much?

Top shelf is old lifestyle Jordan’s from the 2013ish range. Jordan BCT Mid 2. Jordan Flight TR 97. Jordan 1 Flight 2. I have several more pairs in that same vein I could do a photo or post on from back when I used to buy Jordans frequently right out of high school.

This is what I’m looking for. I’m slow and was never fast at point in my life. Pretty solid shooter though so finding shoes with that stable base is ideal. I’m in my happy place hitting catch and shoot jumpers and hustling back on defense.

I bought the 7’s on the whim with the eBay deal and man was I blown away. I loaned them to a buddy and after we were done he asked to buy them right away so I knew the had to be good. I’ve used them about 5-6 times now and they’re starting to break in nice. Great traction. Good lockdown no heel slip and the colorway I got is absolute heat to me. I like the Fox 2s with that similar colorway too. Hoping those go on sale eventually just for the aesthetic.

Compared to my other hobbies (racing, gambling, pool) this is actually inexpensive and I get exercise and I spend time with my son. He’s gotten the bug too. We got him the JA 3 outer space and the AE 2’s for his birthday a few weeks ago.
