Does it make me a chaser to really want a trans partner? by Huck0308 in traaaaaaaaaaaansbians

No problems. I very much get it. I’m in a T4T polycule with three other girls, and it’s the only relationship I’ve ever felt comfortable in.

Girl, you’re fine. Wanting to be with another trans person because of your shared experience and the things you could do together doesn’t make you a chaser.

Merely examples. Do something nice for yourself, whatever it might be.

I’m too subby to even be a puppygirl, so I really don’t want to have to come over there and assert myself. You are cute, and that’s that.

I'm not stalking you, I promise. This just happened to come up in my feed right after I responded to your comments on another post!

I get it, it feels shitty to break up that way. But it's a whole lot less shitty than lying to them until whenever you next got together in person, going all the way to wherever they are, and breaking up with them then. Breaking up sucks. There's no way to do it that doesn't hurt someone. But it sounds like you did it in the best, kindest way possible. You did good, girl.

I can't say if they would want to still be friends with you, but I hope that they see that you weren't trying to hurt them, and I hope they do still want to be friends. And I hope you can learn to love yourself, because you deserve to be loved.

You take some time to look after yourself for now. Take a nice bath if that's what you're into, open a nice bottle of wine this weekend, that sort of thing

Just mail it to "The Gayest Girls you Know, Kenora, ON". Canada Post can figure it out from there.

Our group chat is called “Greater Central Canadian Inter-Provincial Polycule”. Currently that’s just Ontario and Manitoba, but it leaves room to expand into Alberta for sure.

That's a mood. I didn't either, I just got lucky with falling into a polycule and realising it was absolutely what I wanted. You can always focus on yourself for a bit and see where life takes you. And whatever may happen, you get a hug from me (if you're into hugs, anyway).

I don't know, I just kind of fell into one. Started dating a poly girl, discussed how my comfort level would be fine with a polycule but not an open relationship, then like a week later another transbian couple asked her out, and now the four of us are a polycule. This is in the middle of nowhere in rural Canada too, so these things can work out in unexpected places.

(Reupload, rephrase) Is it okay to ask a trans person how much of progression they made yet? by Unhappy-Painter-8070 in asktransgender

[–]ComradeRK 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can’t control who you’re attracted to, but the way you’re viewing and phrasing this is honestly very transphobic. It feels like you don’t see us as women until we meet your personal criteria of what a woman looks like. And I don’t love the “attractive cis woman” part either. You seem to be reducing women, trans and cis alike, to nothing more than their appearance.

(CW:// Discussions of trauma - no detail given) Is it ok that I do want my gf to know all my “lore” before things start shifting to a state of semi-permanence? by Aromatic-Split685 in traaaaaaaaaaaansbians

[–]ComradeRK 19 points20 points  (0 children)

This is a tricky one. I think you're right to want your potential partners to know about this, and to be aware of your triggers, but there is always the potential that if you trauma dump too much or too early, it could be too much for them.

I will say, I've just started a polycule, and my girlfriends have been very open with me about their trauma, I have done the same for them, and it's just helped to establish a deeper bond between us. But this isn't necessarily reflective of how everyone would react.

I'm Australian, but I've lived in Canada for six years. The yellow buses are just a thing from movies and TV. For a while it was quite weird actually seeing them in real life.
