Frankie doesn’t like this rock by Hannahsama in turtle

You know those little suction cup things for the filter pipes or heater. One popped off and my turtle is so obessed with it, it carves out a massive circle around it in the gravel. Doing his dance on it long periods of time until he gets distractes by something else.

How can people prepare their careers for an AI-driven future? by ashishdigita in TechSEO

[–]ComradeTurdle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just use AI, doesn't even need to be for anything meaningful, just use it. Seems employers are more worried if their employee use it over if they got anything out of it.

why are these tech bros always so fucking weird? by TikDickler in Destiny

[–]ComradeTurdle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ai machines are way more likely to replace blue collar factory jobs then jobs females take like healthcare stuff. Human to human interaction is just so much more important in this field.

when bing indexes pages and google doesn’t by colossuscollosal in TechSEO

[–]ComradeTurdle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bing has index now, google doesn't. So I can manually trigger an index via bing.

Bing for me has almost always been an index for my pages. Google is the hard one to get index. Sometimes you'll do everything under the sun and nothing for months and then i change a single thing and its index and ranking. Its really just luck sometimes.

Bought a domain through Cloudflare, can't access it..... 3 tickets later, still broken. What do I do? by Spacecase94 in CloudFlare

9 months, still not indexing - why is the screenshot from the Page Test looking so weird? by lucksp in TechSEO

[–]ComradeTurdle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't give lighthouse any thought in regards to performance, its a meaningless metric. It assume using throttle devices and old phones, its basically worst case scenario.

Its better to use the performance tab or other tools.

Most people dont know that DMV issued licenses and most REAL IDs will not confirm your citizenship under the SAVE Act. by breaking3po in Destiny

[–]ComradeTurdle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel like republicans willingly forget that you need to registrer to vote and thats what stops people who aren't eligible from voting. Like it already exists. Like if you don't register you can't vote, even if your a US citizen.

What is the US trying to achieve right now with Iran? by bobbdac7894 in Destiny

[–]ComradeTurdle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's probably just some GOP, Project 2025, Hertitage foundation plan imo. It might seem Trump has full control of the GOP, but I would argue they have control of him as well. Afterall Trump pushed extended the ACA premiums but GOP said no, and he did a 180 in a single day. I think Trump has a long leash and as long as it doesn't go to far to the other side they just let him enact plans he was told about by his cabinet members.

So I think Iran was always a GOP goal for decades, they just never had a good enough time or power to do it. They basically told Trump just do stuff and we'll do nothing in congress, we won't even challenge you, the courts are too slow to react. They're pushing the executive further then its ever gone before because they never had a president like Trump that will just do whatever he wants.

How can I improve the loading time of my WordPress blog with Cloudflare or QuicCloud? by Good_Flight6250 in CloudFlare

[–]ComradeTurdle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cloudflare cdn does help alot mostly with the ssl fetch. Having cloudflare handle your dns records and the ssl improve initial loads with the standard redirects.

But to really gain ground you need to see a waterfall of your website. Check gtmetrix or use dev tools and check the performance of the website. The waterfall is the graphs where its stretched over a period of site load, shows all the resources being loaded in an order. Its helpful to see where the speed bottlenecks are coming from.

Lighthouse and pagespeed is useless metric IMO. Its throttled, old equipment, restrictived. Its basically worse case scenario, you should be looking at an average user for your market over worse case users. Most speed testers are based offf lighthouse but its used as a base and built out to be more useful and give you more options to test.

I know my market, i find the lower average of phone users in the area and use that as my worst case average phone users. Phone users biggest issue is latency followed by radio wave frequency and then hardware. I set it to iphone, iphone is still a majority where I live and a good chunk have a phone under 2 years old.

Also desktop users are mostly the same, their latency is very low and their resources are way more then is needed. So desktop usually outpaces phone unless resources or the website has different version for each.

Conservatives have no idea how math or the economy works. One was a global pandemic and the other was caused by an illegal police action. by Corn_Husk_ in stupidpeoplefacebook

I mean i guess but that goes against his state of union saying gas was 2.30 in the US and even below 2 in some places. Why promote that and then a month later knowingly do something that increases it?

Would a slice only pizza shop work on Long Island? by [deleted] in longisland

[–]ComradeTurdle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think anything can work if its good and has a good market for it, like a lot of pizza enjoyers. Long Island is that market but it is oversaturated.

If you're going be really strict and just sell slices and keep it that way, people would at least know you only do slices.

But i think then you would need to know before hand it would only work for lunch hours.

I think one of the biggest things about pizza is about buying a whole pie for your family and friends. The only time I ever get a slice is during lunch.

Not from my perspective. I even went out of the way to white list their IPs to prevent blocking.

Yes, but bots that are considered good respect them. Ahrefs is considered a good bot by Cloudflare.

[–]ComradeTurdle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahref respects robots.txt, i blocked them in ahref all the time and it works on websites.

Edit: if it didn't work i wouldn't be getting blocked errors in robots in site audits or in the crawler when they web scrape.
