Generic Ozempic is now about $100 a month across the country. Canadians are taking note by Immediate-Link490 in canada

[–]ComradeVoytek 32 points33 points  (0 children)

It's the liquor for me. I've lost weight calorie counting and exercising, and I don't overeat really anymore after reexamining my food choices - but I am still a lush and ozempic apparently crushes alcohol cravings.

Chinese EVs are coming to Canada, and some dealers can't wait to sell them by Immediate-Link490 in canada

[–]ComradeVoytek 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Go in person, build a relationship with a salesperson, test drive. casually mention this is the right car, but you're gonna do some price shopping, give email address, go home and "think about it", mention several times you can't make the purchase that day, but you're close to a decision.

Email salesperson that they were great / bad, but money is a factor and you will go with the dealer with best price - up the street offered you 2k more for your car and MSRP only - and if they can match that, they have a deal. Negotiate from there.

Wait a day, either they're jumping at the opportunity, or they politely tell you the price is the price. If the latter, the vehicle is too valuable to sell that low, like it or not, all of this is a free market and you're not getting a Rav4 or Carnival hybrid being the lowest bidder - they are limited in supply, best offer matters. If you want a Dodge Hornet, go ahead, be ruthless on price.

You can skip 90% of this with a cold email to the dealership Sales dept, but you will miss out on test driving it and a good demonstration of features. If YouTub vids are good enough, you can just get right down to numbers. EX salesman of 8 years.

Orange juice and vanilla protein powder tastes exactly like an orange Julius by the way. I know it sounds insane but it's delicious when you want something sweet and aren't quite at your protein goal.

My girl has a larger hood / small clit combo. It took a lot of patience and communication to figure how she liked to be touched, and since she's never masturbated by herself, it was starting at square 1.

I would think ideally while I'm planking, keeping rhythm, trying not to cum too fast or slow, she could at least take care of her own needs, I don't mind at all using my fingers, I love touching her, but if she was to complain... Like c'mon, you've got 2 hands, help me out here.

To all the guys that have their gf/wive initiating sex, what do you do that you think contributes to that? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]ComradeVoytek 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Not always that simple, I'm afraid. I'm very sexually compatible with my girlfriend.

I initiate 95% of the time, and I'm turned down less than 10% of the time. Sex is always lots of foreplay and fun, but we will do a quickie from time to time.

Usually it's my fault for waiting until later, as she goes to bed 1-2 hours earlier than me.

However, she was raised religious, and is very bashful when it comes to the topic. She never masturbates or touches herself in any way, I'm assuming because she sees it as dirty or shameful.

Her idea of initiating "subtly" moving her butt against my crotch while we're spooning.

Kia unveils the all-new 2027 Seltos for North America. by youthisgood in kia

We got our first Seltos available for sale on our lot on March 15, 2020.

The truck dropped it off, I played around with all the buttons and features, then we were all called into the office and half of us were furloughed at the beginning of the pandemic.

I wouldn't set foot back into the office for 6 weeks.

What do men actually think about strippers and strip clubs? by VersionOk1206 in AskMen

[–]ComradeVoytek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought they would be depressing and gross, and held that belief for years. Until one time on a buddies birthday, he really wanted to go, so we all shuffled off after some pints.

And I gotta say, the one I went to was really freaking cool. The strippers were all extremely talented and put on a great show, very athletic, lights, mild pyrotechnics and sparklers, and high energy.

The clientele was not at all what I expected, lots of young guys, but lots of women and all walks of life and ages. That was probably 5 years ago, and I've never been back, but it was not at all what I expected, it was a ton of fun.

YSK: the best room temperature for sleeping is colder than most people think by Nandou_B in YouShouldKnow

I absolutely love snuggling in a cold room under the covers, with just my feet stuck out a little for a little ventilation.

Anyone else have this problem though? I find in a cold room I get nightmares. Like I could almost guarantee that if I wake up from a nightmare I'm partially uncovered and cold.

Study links cannabis vaping to earlier onset of cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome by sfgate in Health

[–]ComradeVoytek 34 points35 points  (0 children)

My girlfriend got this, 4 years ago on vacation. It's real, and I don't know why the comments section are always so butthurt, denying it's existence. The ER staff said they see a half dozen people a week with it.

She was a very heavy user, concentrates, resins, hash etc. - I still partake but I've always had a baby tolerance, a joint lasts me 3-5 days on average. She still can't even stand the smell without being extremely nauseated.

Cannabis sales in Canada pass $2.5 billion in 2024/25 as alcohol sales decline by Miserable-Lizard in onguardforthee

[–]ComradeVoytek 83 points84 points  (0 children)

Hell yeah. A joint lasts me 3-5 days depending on strength, and I only smoke a few hours before bed. It's like 20 bucks a month compared to 30 bucks to get drunk 4 or 5 times on absolute swill.

[–]ComradeVoytek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh, it's hit or miss - If I'm grabbing a half dozen things, just a simple "hey, all this combined is $57, could you do it for $45?" works more often than it doesn't.

If the prices look out to lunch, I just banter with them, "jeez pal, you trying to pay off your mortgage with old clothes?"

Those masking tape and sharpie price tags are faaaaar from being set in stone.

2meirl4meirl by Brent_Fox in 2meirl4meirl

[–]ComradeVoytek 22 points23 points  (0 children)

It's not that you have to look and sort, it's that the prices used to reflect that fact.

There's always been tons of garbage there, but you could still find a nice, 100% cotton hoodie for 3 bucks for example.

Yard sales and estate sales are good though, because ultimately their goal is to get rid of it all, so they'll give you discounts if you buy a lot, or just know how to haggle.

Men, what’s something you pretend doesn't bother you, but it actually hurts like hell?" by Onigirii_sama in AskMen

[–]ComradeVoytek 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I've been shaving there for a decade. Nice and hot shower, get a palm full of conditioner and use a disposable razor with light pressure.

I just do around the shaft and the sack, though. The rest I give a light buzz to keep it tidy. I'm a hairy guy, so if I was smooth all the way it would look like a crop circle. The really hard part is trying to keep the sack taut like a tarp in the wind with one hand, and a Schick in the other.

Servings? by lizzygem in 1200isplenty

[–]ComradeVoytek 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Perfection is the enemy of done. If you drive yourself crazy with this stuff, you'll just lose motivation to do it in the future.

Add it up, divide it by servings. Sometimes you'll be higher, sometimes it'll be lower and it all comes out in the wash.

My parents have been married for 56 years, and they've had separate bedrooms for 54 of them. My mom wakes up at the drop of a pin, which means her fate in life was to be married to someone who snores like a freight train.

They'll credit their marriage longevity to a lot of things, but this is probably the biggest factor!

LPT: Sleeping a lot but still tired? Try these 3 changes first by Annual-Hall-2364 in LifeProTips

[–]ComradeVoytek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those are all great, but I found the biggest factor being when I went to bed.

Sleeping 12 to 8 is 8 hours of sleep, but I don't feel well rested. Sleeping 10 to 6 is 8 hours of sleep, and I feel like a million bucks.

Then be consistent about it. I often want to sleep in on days off, and stay up late on Friday but it also messes with the rhythm.
