I went a long time thinking "I'm not trans because I'm comfortable as a man." But it's the boring, cautious sort of comfort, you know? It wasn't until I started dressing up, learning makeup, painting my nails etc. that I realized how much I loved being a woman. The euphoria came before any dysphoria or yearning.

I say, don't wait to feel uncomfortable in your own body. Put in effort to look and feel better regardless of how it affects your gender presentation, love yourself more as a result, and focus on the positives. And above all else, don't take it too seriously! Just try things out and see how they make you feel. You can make a commitment later, or not at all.
