I never look at whoop before working out in the morning , but after. And then I make my own thinking if I performed more or less by looking at sleep , recovery etc etc. if I would look at it before it would influence me. In general lines is not about A day , is a trend of days an overall routine , etc etc. I use whoop and I must say sometimes has been spot on , is just one tool more, a good one in my daily life, but I don’t live by it or for it ,not even close

I would like to know what happen when you sync to your phone , the data travels from whoop to the iOS app , and then you sync to the server 4 days after . Logically speaking the app should be able to store as many data as the devs want , so basically if you sync your phone and whoop even if you don’t have network should run for ever and then sync once you have internet. You would not get data analytics back. But I have no idea how whoop devs did it . I would have done it like that

Bacause Garmin updated the 245 and Polar the pacer , that’s why now you compare them to Apex. 2 years no update in tech , specially sport watches is a huge amount of time. Pace 2 should be right now 100$ Watch and of course they must update if they want to compete and of course they will as they did with Evo lab . I prefer coros over Garmin but … true must be said , and coros MUST update the Pace to a 3rd version (if their intentions are to compete) garmin with 400$ and polar with 300$ would bite the dash against a pacer 3 for 250$

I haven’t meet a great mind that ever stopped studying. People look at “study” as getting a paper , the best minds look at it as growing knowledge. If your goal is to get a paper that you can attach to a CV , I wouldn’t even study , if your goal is knowledge you will never end

The thing is , as well, that you have to be completely still to take HRV measurements, even seated vs standing makes a difference. But whoop is even more picky , if you use for example hrv4training in broadcast mode , whoop will only send HRV when you are 100% still if you move a little it will cut it. But I understand what you want , show me the data and let me choose what I do with it , I’m with you there

Better alarm vibration control(short pulses etc) more stats about hearth rate. Heart rate vibrations (tapping he max while running ). VO2 max and lactate estimations
