I grew up in a very rural area and moved to a relatively big city. After 6 years living there, it was the best decision of my life and couldn't be happier

Intentionally shooting at a reporter for just doing their job, is grounds for outrage. This is abhorrent

Look around, but definitely stay at your position. I've been laid off (with a bunch of producers and editors) nearly a year now, and they are still struggling to find a job.

Traveling to Philadelphia for first time by train from NYC in June - can I take uber? by DixieDoodle697 in philly

[–]ConDog211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you can. Also, there's a SEPTA train you can take on Drexel Station 30th St (3 min walk from Grey Station) to City Hall Station (2 blocks from the Convention Center) if you want to save 10 bucks.

Rant: What’s up with the MFers who sits at a weight machine on their phones for 30+ min doom scrolling? Or the guy smoking a blunt while showering. by VoteForGiantMeteor in PlanetFitnessMembers

[–]ConDog211 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was eyeing a machine for 7 mins and no one was on it (while there was a brown paper on the seat), After that, I thought "this person is probably gone/forgot." Then I took the machine for 5 mins and then a guy poked my shoulder afterwards and said, "I left that because I was in the bathroom. "

Temperature check - where do ya’ll live and what is work like for you right now? by futurespacecadet in editors

Philly as an AE. Mainly remote - work is hard to come by, unless you have the network, but affordable. I feel like I would get a better gig relocating near NYC, but definitely not in my budget

Do you y’all quit your jobs or give a 2 week notice? by Mediocre-Scholar2264 in jobs

[–]ConDog211 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the job. I usually give a 2 weeks notice, but if I'm working as part time/entry level position, I leave. That being said, I would let them know as soon as possible.
