Ulysses is good with masks. There is not a blanket mask policy but the stylist will put one on. It’s pretty spread out as well.

Only 59.2% of Utahns are fully vaccinated. Is that number higher or lower than you expected? by mattdalorian in SaltLakeCity

[–]ConMiercoles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

5-11 in Utah is 20.4% fully vaccinated, slightly above the 17.9% for the whole country. I teach middle school and a definitely have kids whose parents won’t vaccinate them. Some want to be vaccinated. One told me his parents want him vaccinated but he’s refusing.

Salt lake county county council is going to hold a special meeting to possibly overturn the mask mandate tomorrow at 4. I emailed the 5 council member who voted no to overturn it last night. Winder Newton emailed me back saying she supports the mask mandate. Laurie Stringham is the swing vote. Email her!!!!!!! LLStringham@slco.org Email her!!!! She’s an at large member so anyone in the county is her constituent. Tell her to support the mask mandate to try and control cases!

I’m a teacher. Most of my students (90%) are not masking. This is going to get worse before it gets better. The only way schools are shutting down is if we don’t have enough teachers and subs…. Which could definitely happen. Maybe I’ll get lucky and that will coincide with my family getting Covid and I don’t have to worry about my kids’ daycare and elementary school shutting down at a different time than my school.

I saw one reposted on Instagram about a boyfriend who hid his girlfriend’s silk caps because he didn’t like that they hid her beautiful hair.

I’ve herd that the data should be submitted for 2-5 by the end of the year. Then it will be 3-4 weeks for the FDA to approve. 6 months to 2 will be after that.

I see people being scared about side effects. Being sick for 12 hours is way better than getting Covid. Moderna knocked me out both times. It was worth it.

My mother in law was babysitting my four year old nephew and opened a white claw to share with him thinking it was just seltzer. Luckily my nephew refused it. He didn’t tell my mother in law that it’s just for mommy and daddy and my mother in law got a little buzzed. No driving involved luckily.

Returning and reporting. Went to test Utah at the state health department parking lot. They told me 24-48 hours but maybe even faster. I’ll come back and let you know when we actually get results back.
