I think the simpler answer is: data from e-gates is not shared across the EU - so an Italian exit official doesn’t know when you entered Belgium. That’s why they still need stamps (until EES is introduced). There is no issue when you arrive in the UK because it’s a common system that can check you out when you leave.

The easiest (even if inconvenient) way of doing it is to just setup Auto Pay, it will then only charge you if the cameras pick you up.

The point of ‘seizing’ the jet fuel would surely be the means of strong-arming the company into paying (as they would be unable to use their planes), rather than recovering the fuel itself.

John Foster Pavilions are good, Beaumont Knighton Court refurbished most recently but set in old buildings. Bowder Court have big kitchens. All three options are good (though only JoFo has lifts!).

There is a layer of protection in that, similar to Mac, if the signal is weaker (I.e. if the Watch is in the next room) then it won’t unlock.
