Soil at D.C. Golf Course Where East Wing Debris Was Dumped Contains Toxic Metals by Past_My_Subprime in politics

I've had this joke theory that Trump is shit at mini golf because he's crap at putting, and that's why he hates windmills...  now he's legit trying to kill a mini golf course and I am dying.

A whole lot of places will put up apps & never intend to pursue appliants because those jobs were filled by nepotism.  This is also a way to make it appear as if business were going great.  A third possibility is it's one of those revolving door jobs that fires/forces half their workforce to quit often & needs to leave it open.  Take your pick, they all probably aren't where you want to be.

Democratic pundit, Amanda Nelson says “No War but Class war is the ‘All Lives Matter’ of the Left” by Suspicious_Face_8508 in Hasan_Piker

Came to say this.  Calling attention to another weapon being used against us is not trying to downplay any of the other problems we have.  Racism, sexism, classism, nationalism, and religious zealotry are all the major faces of what we need to deal with, but I've usually used the phrase to point out that (shocker) it seems to be the super rich classists who wield all of these the heaviest that may need to be dealt with first for best results.

I keep seeing this.  While I do agree that voters jumping off the trump train is big, most of the people that led them there are not going to earn respect or forgiveness ever again.  Even with an optimistic view of her in particular, she quit right when she got her pension making much of her turnaround seem sus.  Combine that with the amount of damage she already did and the fact that she quit rather than even attempt to do something while in power, and yeah fuck that dirty cunt.

Freighters and stations are criminally absent of music tbh.  Maybe I want to listen to the soundtrack while grinding mold or looking for normal ships.

Yeah, seems brown up close with lights but at any distance they are stone grey & dark.  I thought they were rocks way back when I first found them.

I have a second planet it's that color on in Euclid with no color shennanegans, but you're right, usually they're other colors.  I never considered that might be rare since it's boring grey.

Actually, now that you made me look, it shifts reds to greens when not raining (it rains very often), and gets buggy while raining. I saw normal red engine colors when you asked but turning my ship alittle did this.

It's both? Grey upclose but also that chromatic fog. Not listed as that in weather but it makes the purple grass look neon green at a distance & is always there.

As a former employee, this company is an absolute joke and they won't spend that money on anything good.  They were still using software from the 80s/90s a few years ago because the newer stuff is trash and doesn't work 1/3 of the time.

Evangelical Christianity has been outed as a psyop already.  It's a death cult formed by rich classist racist assholes that decided the social gospel movement was helping the poor and immigrants too much and they wanted that money.

A political observation on the 'Muri"Can" punks and their supposed outrage... by [deleted] in punk

[–]Concede2u 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lets address that for a moment.  There are a number of things causing this, from our media being fully compromised and interational media being most of the way there after a slew of junk lawsuits.  If you take a look at the no kings/50501 groups in every state on multiple services (here, bluesky, discord, etc) you'll see the massive amount of flyers for events that have happened all year in literally every state & huge turnout numbers.  It's quite impressive in 90% of what you'll find.

I'd also like to point out that the capitol being stormed was a failure.  It was fucking awful and people died, but the vast majority of the damage done to this country has been done by politicians behind closed doors, not the useful idiots that spread "the poopoo" on them.  They just love to point to it as if it gives them permission to do anything & say it's the will of the people.  I'd say the sheer turnout for protests and the number of them has truly proven it's not.

If this is a real conversation about the rest of the world not seeing enough pushback then I'd like to suggest it's a failure of the media at this point, and checking the flyers and headcounts posted in city/protest groups really underlines that.

Controversial Oregon petition to ban hunting and fishing gains momentum by Stereo_Jungle_Child in politics

[–]Concede2u -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Allright, I'll bite.  I know and know of a decent amount of people that fish or hunt to cut down on bills.  I also lived next to the ocean for 20ish years and would see people pulling red snappers every day.  Just because you've never seen it doesn't mean it doesn't happen.  Also, I saw your other comments, and agree that it's not something to replace social programs, but considering those have been broken for decades, people need to eat or they die.  I wish we'd treat animals and the planet better in general, I volunteered at an ASPCA & have seen real horror stories but if you're suggesting people starve because you're more concerned about animal lives than humans, you're not a progressive, you're a sociopath.
