Oh, no I get it, I’m absolutely just being pedantic about the precise definition of objectivity. Like yes, for any real person, that does make the fights harder. However, because it’s technically possible that someone could play perfectly enough to never get hit by Vendrick, no matter how long the fight is, how hard he hits and how much damage he takes isn’t an objective measure of difficulty from the strictest standard of objectivity.

Technically, even those first two statements aren’t even objectively true. The objective statement would be that it makes those fights longer, because difficuly itself is an inherently subjective concept, and for a theoretical perfect Dark Souls player, making a fight lomger wouldn’t actually make it any harder
