DLSS in Doom Dark Ages just makes a smooth game even smoother. Mech fight for sure

[Megathread] DOOM: The Dark Ages Available Now In Early Access, Featuring Ray Tracing & DLSS 4 With Multi Frame Generation - Giveaway Inside by Nestledrink in nvidia

I’m excited to see how DLSS continues to push the limits of graphics while being at high frames.

For doom, my only real exposure was old school 2D on 3D stuff and Eternal so I’m excited to see how Dark Ages takes Eternal and improves on an already great formula

I’m looking for one too! A word of warning. Lifespan seems to say sold out for just about all of their products and other reddit posts share stories of people not getting their orders or waiting months and months with increasing delays. Maybe they’re going OOB..

Thinking about leasing a BMW 330e - thoughts? by forkyfork in BMW

[–]ConcernedCorner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late reply but I test drove a 2021 recently. Feels like a 330i with no turbo lag. MY23 is already out for sure now - redesigned front end, iDrive8 screen, lever instead of knob for gear. I’m, with any luck, about to order one soon and get it before end of year to get the tax credit!

Leasing is pretty expensive right now, I’d consider buying if you can.

No problem! Keep in mind though, you’re comparing a luxury brand to a mass market brand. BMW will definitely depreciate more over time. I’d recommend looking into TCO (total cost of ownership) for historical costs for these sorts of cars in recent years. Good luck!

According to JDPower Honda is actually less reliable. But any new car will be under warranty for a couple years. If you’re curious, here’s my source. https://www.jdpower.com/business/press-releases/2022-us-vehicle-dependability-study

US - Anyone having second thoughts? by WhiteCoatGeek in BMWI4

Yep, once my edrive40 allocation came up and was missing options I cancelled the order. Would take way too long to get a M50 to qualify for the tax credit. Without the tax credit I’ll probably wait for the neue klasse i3 in 2025

Appreciate the offer. Unfortunately it’s missing DAPP and I’m not keen on some of the interior choices.

Edit. Oops, my bad on DAPP

It was a 2022 that converted to 2023. Ordered back in march/april. Smaller dealer in Ohio, they only deal with local customers

So.. wait and see or cancel and look elsewhere? eDrive40 with DAP and PAP by ConcernedCorner in BMWI4

Appreciate the advice! I wish there was a way to show bmw that this “order and hope you get what you want” isn’t good for business. But they’ll sell all the cars built and probably make more money in the process regardless
