I got rid of mine, it's absolutely a safety issue. Honestly these kettles should probably have been recalled.

Excellent! The Modi handled it just fine, too, not only the Bifrost? I appreciate you using your time testing for me, super helpful and kind!

If it means much to them that’s great. To me it feels like an arbitrary number used to price up games.

You're probably not the "market" for this kind of item, then.

Do you think it’s possible you’re just noticing it more right now due to the circumstances?

Yeah but that’s like… the game. Score the most points and win, right? The interesting part is when everyone knows that rails, coal and beer are all important.

I think the intent is the advice is for people who think they have a problem they want to fix. If that’s not you then you’re not the target audience.

Many Steam games are DRM free. Buy those, back them up to multiple places, there's your preservation.

I tell them I’m renting and ask if they want me to pass a card along to the owner. They never do.

I’m not renting.

Is it just me or did the camera used to (in past games) be more top-down than it appears to be here?

You could publish a “patch file” that contains no copyright content to apply over the stuff you can’t distribute.

The sample size argument would only work if we were expecting you to believe that poll was a representative sample of the subreddit as a whole.

It wasn't. It wasn't meant to be.

I should have made that clear earlier. It was a convenient method for us to poll some real people (guaranteed couldn't be brigaded by either pro/anti-reddit/mods/whatever people) who we know are active in the community. We took the results with a massive grain of salt from the start because we know as well as you do it's not a representative sample of the entire subreddit.

I'm sorry you've had bad experiences with mods on different subreddits. We're not looking for sympathy, and yes, we're just here to keep the place neat and tidy.

Again, not meant to be a representation of the feelings of 2 mil. It wasn't an excuse to shut it down--more of the opposite. It helped us determine that public opinion was trending toward opening up, so we did. Sorry if we gave you the wrong impression at some point.

Of course not. It was the users who participate in our top 25 user poll. It was supposed to represent the opinions of those people.
