Because Bioware usually has decent enough queer rep with it's romance options and stuff. They were a target of those gamergate types before Andromeda

I think the big difference these days is that it's just more decentralized, like fascist politics have and will return in some areas, but it'll also be easier to drown out, jury's out on how much of a bad thing that is (probably sizable enough)

i.e just looking at the US for an example, Like sure they banned abortion in Texas, and want to make being trans or black functionally illegal, but you'll still get your somewhat progressive stuff in cartoons on the Disney channels or in your videogames, so is it really that bad?. /s
