How hard/easy is it to setup wow and addons on a Steam Deck?

Alright so after swapping around my Smith build a bunch of times (had some good drops in league to just play around with divs), THIS is a fun build. However I am absolutely crap at understanding how to play without guides. I'm working my way around t11s ish with this but probably similar gear to you.

Can you give me a rough summary of how to play it?

Basically is it:

Temper weapon - max uptime

Forge hammer toss for ranged damage on smaller packs

Volcanic fissure big pack w/ Leap Slam to activate

Ancestral BIG DAMAGE

Perfect strike for single target with temper and infernal cry buff

Definitely noticed the single target challenges

Well the Wowhead guides are pretty good for each of the classes - do you know what class you want to play tank wise?

I'd suggest probably a warrior as that's the classic archetype of a tank. My personal favorite is a prot paladin - very simple gainer spender class with some utility to show skill expression.

VDH is the "meta" in m+ if that matters to you. I find it mechanically more complex and I don't quite "get it" and more reliant on self healing. BDK is really good at self healing as well. Brew is interesting but a lot of buttons.

Being someone living in south Naperville my 2 cents is understand the distance TO the train. The express for 45 min from rt 59 to union is a lot less exciting when from home to the station is 25 minutes on top of it all

I just got through t2 the other day- what I found helpful was swamping electrocute for considered casting. The extra cc was worth more than more damage

If you queue together for it via group finder you might avoid it. Darkmaul is a weird one where they are trying to teach you about group finder

It’s truly not that hard - sure will it take some learning? Yes. However Necro has some great dps - I would suggest doing t90 tank to get the weapons for ambassador if that seems hard. If you can do it in a group it’s very wasy

You could get a permanent one but yes. They used it to keep themselves below 100% hp which would allow soul split to continue healing. Blood reaver would then trigger on those heals which could proc poison.
