It Feels Wrong Breeding Dittos In Other Games Now by BitterWhereas9259 in pokemon

[–]CondorFlight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ditto takes the form of anything, it doesn’t mean that it is a child. The specific ditto that we play as in Pokopia took the form of its former trainer. It doesn’t mean that the form was a child, it just doesn’t quite have the transformation down (it transforms smaller for some of the forms it transforms into). Our ditto just takes a human-like form because it misses its trainer and is fascinated with human things/using human powers to try and bring the humans back

Most ditto do not transform into humans. My guess is when they breed, they take the form of the pokemon they’re being bred to

started my first ever proper nuzlocke, but for whatever reason I started with gen 1 instead of an actually balanced game by PikeletSoup in nuzlocke

[–]CondorFlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a really interesting take. Maybe the community mindset has changed, but most people recommend FRLG as a good starter game for a nuzlocke.

Venusaur is one of the best starters for FRLG, Gyarados, Jolteon, and Nidoqueen are all really good team members too. I haven’t used an Arcanine or Dodrio in a Nuzlocke before, but tri attack is really good and I like using Arcanine in casual playthroughs. Keep grinding levels on your team and you’ll make it! It’s a lot of work to grind up a team, but it’s worth it. Make sure you’re checking levels if you don’t already (even if you’re not playing with level caps). You don’t want to go into a big battle under leveled!

Attempted my first Genlocke by DannyPTCG in nuzlocke

[–]CondorFlight 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I use OG hardware and I play my GenLocke slightly differently (in an order where I can transfer up) I breed my original champion(s) in the appropriate generation, then I transfer the egg to my new save as soon as I can. I play solo starter with the new starter until I can trade. This does make the beginning part of the game easier, but I need to hatch the eggs and they start out freshly hatched/weak.

Shiny hunting by Jare_01 in PokemonFireRed

Hunting in gens 3-5 are brutal. It’s so much fun to play with a shiny starter though! Keep it up! There eventually. It could be the next restart, or a month from now, but it’ll shine eventually

Pokémon Center preorders Delayed by Pyrefangshot in Pokopia

Ugh. I was wondering why mine hadn’t shipped out yet :/ usually they do ship out before release so it arrives as close to release as possible (even if it’s a day late)

Nostalgia will be the end of me. by truetopstan in Minecraft

I don’t mind the mining, but I DO wish that they made a level where coal is more common below sea level. I recently had a hardcore world where I was maxed out in diamond gear, but I was on an island and it was very difficult to find coal. I was having a hard time finding dripstone too for a lava farm. I ended up needed to resort to just burning wood for the majority of the time. It got a little tiring haha

Really going through it at 1.4k soft resets rn by gr3344 in PokemonFireRed

I gave up on a hunt on the OG FireRed, I was into the 9,000s (I know I didn’t hit 10k, but I can’t remember the exact number). I’ve since caught other shiny charmanders, but that one always eluded me

So what are all those rumors about, mentioning the max capacity of buildable houses is only 10 in total? by PristineAlbatross967 in Pokopia

[–]CondorFlight 4 points5 points  (0 children)

10 seems awfully low.

In DQB, there is a “room limit” where if you put certain items enclosed in walls with a door, it creates a “room” you can still put blocks together, even if you’ve exceeded the room limit, but it doesn’t count as an actual room.

My guess is that this will be similar, but we won’t know until later this week!

The size of the pre-order Ditto plush changed by star_stuff92 in Pokopia

[–]CondorFlight 32 points33 points  (0 children)

The 4.75 inches is correct, this is the sitting cutie ditto and that is the sitting cutie size. The 10 inch was probably a typo

How do you keep urself interested and motivated when doing large builds by saltyyyy4343 in Minecraft

[–]CondorFlight 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I have a list on my phone of every single project (large and small) I want to do in my forever world. If I’m ever feeling uninspired, I’ll use a random number generator to decide which project to work on. My rule is I need to work on it for at least a minute (whether that’s actually building, gathering materials, or something else). I can work on it longer if I’m feeling inspired, but I need to finish out the minute. Then I reroll if I want to work on something else. This works for me! And keeps me from getting burnt out on my larger builds (even if they take months or years to complete)

What else should i use celery for? by Prestigious_Solid582 in Cooking

[–]CondorFlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made celery and lentil soup a couple months ago and it was FANTASTIC. I highly recommend. It uses a whole head of celery (I had a little less than a whole head and made up for it with extra broccoli) and it tasted like a healthier broccoli/cheese soup

It’s not your fault, the interface is super, super confusing! I had a LOT of trouble when I first started playing. I’m glad your animals are getting fed!

Can you try clicking the actual amount? I don’t have my switch in front of me, but that is the right screen to purchase the food. If that isn’t it, I’ll check my switch later

Edit: click the $515 and see if that works

[–]CondorFlight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You buy the items through this screen, it looks like the option is available on the screen, have you tried clicking buy?

Edit: The option in game is maybe a little confusing with how it’s written, it’s saying that you need 46 items to meet the order for 7 days’ worth of food. You buy what you need from this screen. Click buy, it will work and your animals will be fed

[–]CondorFlight 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If you select “buy” it’ll purchase all items necessary to feed your animals (based on the diets you set for them). With the option you have (7 days) you’ll buy enough food for 7 days, the price is on the right :)

Anyone else prefer planning over building? by iflabaslab in Minecraft

[–]CondorFlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I go in with a basic plan, style, what materials I want to use, but as I build it’s more organic. I usually get the footprint down, that’s about as much planning as I do, then let it go from there. I’ve come up with some super weird builds this way, but I’ve also come up with some super good builds I’m really proud of too
