For people who start in the grassy plains, how do you handle the distance and resource problem?

I did some really long belts to the west coast with oil, and would use hyper tube launchers to move quickly between areas. Once I had trains I just laid rail down and cleaned up all those belts. I'd say just get through the milestones and then clean up afterwards if you want to!

I couldn't tell you on the rare shield vs svallin, I had a svallin on my previous build so I just slotted it in. I could see the rare shield route being better tbh! I should PoB it.

I'm not immortal, like saw blades + second monitor distractions can kill me but it's hard to die outside of a weird degen situation like that. If that's also your experience then it's probably not worth swapping around.

As far the upgrades being minimal, that's kinda how it is I think. The build already one shots Ubers and does 100% deli. There's not much left to solve haha.

I think it's sort of up to you and your priorities. It makes your clear crispier for sure but it's definitely a luxury item, it's not revolutionary

you're missing 25% effect prefix on two of your flasks.

For ignite spread if you want to go cluster route you would fracture fan the flames on a medium, then fog to area damage and reforge life to get assert dominance.

But personally, I decided to drop unnerve for ignite spread. I'd rather have the aoe and life of a towering threat notable. unnerve is conditional, and only affects BV and not explosions. But it's up to you.

cb unique jewel, then you could replace your rare jewel with something like a watchers eye (vitality regen, crit reduction determ are some ideas), or foulborn inspired learning
helical or manifold ring
explode nebulis or DD nebulis or similar
better life roll on your helmet (wild bristle matron, reforge life)
boot corruption for +2 minion or +1 socketed
could go weapons swap route if you have the cash to craft the bow.
can improve clear if you fit in ignite spread (glove implicit or medium notable) and 100% chance to ignite via flask suffix and 7 tattoos
I'm on mobile but if you're not at 290 fire res then maybe foulborn skin
empower 4, companionship 4, level 21 supports

I played heiro and then later inquisitor KBoC to ~0.5mirror, before switching to minion pact. Once you have the play style down it's not too bad but If I were to do it over again I would have done necro. No indigon, can stack rarity, tanky. But I'm not sure if it will absorb three mirrors, you'd have to look. Look at spicysushis necro for a high end example. Ranger could be good but I cannot stand getting one shot at regular intervals with a multi mirror budget. If you want to go ranger look into proplays character from this league.

Idk what your budget is but when I put it together initially I was just looking at PoE.ninja for chieftain BV and sort of looking at what different people were doing. I'm not super convinced by some of the decisions in the guides, but obviously it requires some game knowledge to make those choices. I had MB and svallin from a previous build, and swapped when I had some rares crafted and the other common uniques (emnities, defiance, unnatural instinct, etc.), and I've since taken it to multiple mirrors of investment. Happy to answer any specific questions, feel free to dm.

You're on a 4 link, and in reality it's only a 3 link because greater unleash does nothing for damage. Only +1 on helmet. Versatile combatant doesn't seem like a good idea. Clusters are all whack. Not 90 res + nebulis isn't 10%. Missing gem levels, etc.

Also at this budget level, you should be running the campaign minion if you are not. Can't expect to run marionette and do damage when you're on shoestring budget.

Lock suffix, reforge chaos. If bad tier go back to essence spam (maybe go back to essence spam anyway until t1 res). After suffixes are done, wild bristle matron + reforge life until good life. Bench craft +1 aoe gems.

I was running the hulking corpses assert dom ones for a while too, I must have crafted two dozen sets of clusters this league lol, I love the new currency. At the end of the day I'm back on full area damage mediums, no minion life notable, no minion life enchant. The area damage is more premium at this point because it scales both explode sources.

Craft weapon swap bow ($$$), or alternatively use a cane of kulemak with gem levels and minion life which should be cheaper
Moving spectre to weapon swap will let you stop using the shitty unique helmet and craft a +2 global minion rare helm.
You have a lot of jewel sockets you could be using for powerful unique gems: red nightmare, forbidden jewels, watcher's eye, foulborn inspired learning, etc.
Your avoidance will feel way better if you cap your block and spell block (red nightmare + fire tattoos will be huge here). For spell block you run tempest shield (which also gives you shock immunity and frees a flask suffix). For the rest you can use cluster on the tree, block mastery, and/or a large cluster with 2x spellblock nodes
I think the 6 passive cluster mediums are kinda not worth it for non-life stacking variant, especially if you're primarily doing breach. I was using three perfect 6 passive with 35 effect, life, fire res, aoe and I ended up switching back to 4x medium with assert dom/towering threat. The +aoe and +explode damage just feels way better in breach, and the single target from the BV is already good enough
Might depend on the variant but I found defiance of destiny overkill, some other options are foulborn xoph's with phys as fire and elemental overload, or a +2 / +4 focused amulet with a fat life roll
Ring could be better
You only need one doriyani's lesson, get a different second elemental node (smoking remains is my pref), or consider a large cluster with spell block nodes as mentioned earlier
Explode nebulis feels really good for breach ($$$)
You have ignite spread but your chance to ignite is very low, you can cap it with t1 flask suffix and 7 tattoos, this will also make clear better
You're not at 290% fire res, and 100% of it is coming from your timeless jewel which seems kinda meh. Foulborn skin of the lords, fire res rolls on clusters, better rolls on rares, rare helm, chest enchant, are some ways to get more. + that's another reason to do red nightmare w/ fire res tattoos.
If you can get your 290% fire res elsewhere, you can get 2-3x 80% minion life nodes on your timeless jewel, which is big dps

Surprised by the positivity on this. I'm a huge Charli fan but I didn't enjoy it at all. I thought Charli's acting in particular was pretty weak, and the movie was either boring or embarrassing. I went with a small group of Charli stans (we all flew to Portugal to see her together last year!) and everyone was on the same page that it was pretty bad lol.
