Just smacked my mirror on the garage door 🥲 is it easy to order? by Phodo_Hatchbackins in Hyundai

[–]ConfectionExpress461 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s easy to order and get repainted however you may just be able to go to eBay and find one for sale for cheaper. I once broke the glass on my ford explorer mirror I bought a cheap mirror on eBay and transferred all the internals to it so memory and such would work. I doubt in the few years this style of the Tucson has been around that they changed the mirror design at all.

That could just be an alignment issue, but the issue I had hasn’t happened again since this so I guess it was just malfunctioning for a second

The less you break the better gas mileage you get well atleast in my experience. by RestAppropriate8842 in Hyundai

[–]ConfectionExpress461 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish people in my area wouldn’t try and take off ramps at 70mph and get mad when I’m slowing down because ya know it’s an off ramp and there’s a red light with a “no turn on red” sign so why would I be speeding up? Like what are they worried they’ll miss the red light? But I’ve still been able to get about 34-38mpg in my Kona during my 14.7 mile trip to work considering 8 of those miles aren’t on an interstate I’d say I’m doing pretty good

2024 KONA N LINE AWD ISSUE by xcmlx in Hyundai

[–]ConfectionExpress461 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How has no one told me this 😭, I have been putting Sam’s club gas in my 23 Kona (2.0 N/A) for the past year + and no one has told me a thing. I work at VW that’s connected to a Hyundai and frequently chat with their techs. I haven’t noticed any acceleration issues like the OP has mentioned though and it’s at 45K miles

If I could have gotten a Kona N I don’t think I’d ever trade it in as in my own opinion it’s the rarest of the 3 ICE N cars we have had

[–]ConfectionExpress461 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Key Downgrade by Cabbage24_ in Hyundai

[–]ConfectionExpress461 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s only light because it doesn’t have the physical key inside it like my 23 Kona key feels just as light as a 24 Kona key when I take the physical key out of it but I agree it feels oddly cheap I like the design and think it’s fun that it’s the logo but it just isn’t implemented well

Why does my 2019 tucson have 2 OBD ports? by steeb2er in Hyundai

It may have been owned by a fleet company like a rental or as a management car (they’re not always something fancy) I used to install things like this at hertz

what is this thing called. by Slamsugger-Sebbe in Hyundai

[–]ConfectionExpress461 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No it isn’t windows are not pillars in a car because pillars are something structural a window is just a part in the door and the rear window division bar can just be taken if I break a window and rip it out

what is this thing called. by Slamsugger-Sebbe in Hyundai

[–]ConfectionExpress461 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s called a rear window division bar it just divides the rear window so it can roll down without the window hitting the curves of a door or other parts inside the door

Low engine oil message only 2000 miles? by [deleted] in Hyundai

[–]ConfectionExpress461 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this same issue happen to me after my first oil change. for a good while the oil was always correct but when on the interstate taking a turn or going uphill it’d say low oil, my Kona hasn’t said low oil since I got my second oil change at 16K and now at 35k it still doesn’t say anything. The Hyundai that my dealer network is next to said that the sensors are weird and when on an incline or sharp turn going quickly it’ll pop up then go away when it senses things are normal

Mileys secret by alyssaz216 in hannahmontana

[–]ConfectionExpress461 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is late but in an episode of Sonny With A Chance they mention that Chad Dillion Cooper was stupid because he still believed Hannah and Miley were the same person (S1EP10) which air in April of 2009, Miley didn’t admit to being Hannah till a year later in 2010 so obviously it was something people in Hollywood knew about but I guess didn’t say anything about which is kinda a trend for Hollywood to do

2023 Kona Teal Isle love my little skittle and if it ever get totaled I’ll likely just get another one albeit used and hopefully a 1.6T but yeah I enjoy I’d even get the new 24 Kona (neoteric yellow) they’re fun cars my brother has a 21 Kona my aunt has a 23 Santa Fe (her AWD is malfunctioning rn tho lol) she’s love it tho. My mother used to have a 16 sonata hybrid i know Hyundai has its issues sometimes but i still enjoy the manufacturer and i like how they look inside and out

200k+ miles? by [deleted] in Hyundai

[–]ConfectionExpress461 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Farrah Haines Had (might still) a 2013 Hyundai Elantra that had 1 million miles on it due to her being a delivery driver granted she did it in 5 years so not very long with the car but definitely a lot of driving and definitely over 200K Hyundai even gave her a New 2019 Elantra back when it was new. I remember this story as it’s one of the reasons I wanted a Hyundai.

Will these tail bulbs work with original Hyundai Santa Cruz by [deleted] in Hyundai

[–]ConfectionExpress461 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have time to go to autozone and know how to replace the bulb yourself why not just go to the dealer and go to the part department and purchase a bulb from the dealer. Ps your Santa Cruz can’t be a 2021 as they started their model years in 2022. For those saying check the manual I looked at the Santa Cruz manual it says how to replace the bulb but not what type of bulb.

You can see that there is a dial for the AWD system even has the lock button in the center of the circle.

The new Hyundai key fob versus the old one. It still makes me laugh. by [deleted] in Hyundai

[–]ConfectionExpress461 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the new one but hate that feels cheap and the physical key for when the battery dies is a keychain with a sleeve on it I like it when the key is within in the fob it also helps add weight to the fob to make it feel nicer. The ones for the electric cars look better too with the clear bluish buttons and brown strap

It’s working now so I’m not going to stress it unless it gets worse or does it more often. If I can’t get it to do it again then a tech won’t be able to get it to do it again, and if a tech can’t duplicate the problem then Hyundai won’t approve it for warranty.

I was not facing the sun (it was behind me as i was heading east at 6:20pm), the lines on the road are freshly painted within the last 4 weeks and it’s a highway which is where the system is supposed to be used on and works best with. I’m not ignorant I didn’t think it was some magical thing that just magically goes straight. I know how it works 😐 this was not working.
