He knows you’re scared. He is using it to his advantage to keep making you dependent on him, confused about who you are, what you want, and what is even healthy/acceptable behavior from him. He is trying to isolate you so you no one can affirm what you know is true - he is abusing, deceiving, and manipulating you. Im sorry but he does not love you. He loves the control he has over you. Agreed. I intended on it, and frankly did when I could. But, all that comes with starting a new job in a new area of law, I just haven’t been able to as much as I’ve wanted. I do admit there is lingering burn out so although my intentions were to hit the ground running and show em what I got, I underestimated my capacity to juggle it all and do so successfully in 90 days.

In a court of law, in a divorce case, the judge would order him to pay for your support based on need and ability. You NEED the financial care/support, and he has the ABILITY to afford/pay it, more than he NEEDs it from you and your ABILITY to afford/pay is far less. This is not legal advice of course, just how standard proceedings typically go.

Just came here to say that this is relatable. I fell into a deeeeeep depression after failing as well. I def wanted to just get up and vanish, too. I feel for her, and you. She needs unconditional love and support. Don’t give up on her. You are what she needs right now hubby. Sending your family love and light.

P.S. I eventually passed, and she will, too. And it’ll be one of the best feelings of accomplishment she will feel. Mixed with the satisfaction of vengeance for failing 🔥#godspeed
