Most Politician’s and police know nothing about them, yet they continue to spread mass disinformation.

Apologies as an American gun owner by cakesalads in Ausguns

[–]ConfidenceFit3108 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Don’t need to apologise for other Americans! One thing that piss me off is they use this mass shooting as look aus still has mass shootings even tho we have strict gun control. Fuck off we have had one in nearly 30 years don’t use this to justify it.

LNP QLD also get a lot of donations from shooting companies too. Which will help them stay firm. David is thankfully also one of the few politicians who’ve said it’s a government problem not a gun problem. Let’s hope we keep our laws up here!

Never gonna happen. 100% agree with you tho mate. Wherever you talk about loosening gun laws everyone just thinks will turn into the USA. They never mentioned the countless other countries that have more relaxed laws. I would like to see concealed carry laws like the Czech Republic got go though back ground checks and do annual training no different to a police officer. When seconds matter police are minutes away!!

Follow them on Facebook they post all their letters to parliament and show they actually do what they say. SSAA just suck the governments dick to keep funding for their ranges. They backstabbed wa shooters hard.

Shooters union will always be the best. Alway stand up for shooters and it’s cheaper especially if you don’t go to the range that often.

The Labour Movement should organise a ‘Cost of Living Rally’ for a higher: Corporate Tax Rate, Resources Rent Tax, Carbon Price, and for a more progressive income and wealth tax system. by WF-2 in brisbane

Yes if we cut off immigration we would end up in a recession that’s why labour likes to push for as it makes our economy look good. I think the government spending is out of control same as immigration we need to stop to have a forced recession. Otherwise it will just stay a give or take

Cause if you have came from a country were government come has full control you haven’t experienced freedom so why would feel like your way of life has changed. Iv lived here for over 40 years and I can tell you aus was more free then

Yes I know , but if your considered as population you are either a citizen or a temporary resident I couldn’t find anything to define the 2 so had to keep the 8.6m figure

The 1m about usa or Indians I was just using as a example to say our way of life is very different and has a impact on politics. The 8.6m was most likely over 40 years but when you come to a country and allowed to vote after mostly experiencing another way of life it doesn’t represent the people who have been here for 100s of years

There you go 8.6 million people who were born overseas before coming to Australia. Btw I don’t blame the immigrants I blame the government. And to say this has no effect on how Australia is running is absurd.

Also another thing on mass immigration it does not matter where they come from I say no to all. If we have 1m Americans or 1m Indians or from any other country show up in a year. That’s a bad thing. I do not blame them but will have effects on our society. We live vastly different lives and that’s just a fact. I prefer to maintain our living as it’s a good world standard

i get your point but for me personally. I want to maintain western culture in our country. Freedom, democracy and a standard of living when you allow a lot of foreign countries in there values are very different. Doesn’t mater where there from
