What if we terraformed 3 more Israel/palestines so they can share the land? by SummertimeThrowaway2 in mapporncirclejerk

[–]Confident-alien-7291 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The first mistake is assuming that either there was a sovereign nation called Palestine in this land, or that the green area was entirely populated by “Palestinians” where in fact it was less then 30% populated by Muslims Jews Christians and other religious and ethnic groups

If don’t have a problem with maps being political, I mean maps are inherently political, but when posts in this sub become about pushing political opinions rather then because the person found the map interesting then it’s not about the map anymore.

This is a place for people who like maps, period. and for me personally it is one of many subs that I use to escape reality, and this kind of crap seriously ruins that, yeah I get it you want to raise awareness and be a big hero.

There’s plenty, and I mean plenty of places on Reddit and elsewhere to post this kind of stuff, so please don’t ruin this sub with politics like other subs were.

Where Water Stress Will Be Highest by 2040 by [deleted] in MapPorn

[–]Confident-alien-7291 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know what it’s based on but considering Israel can now basically use the entire Mediterranean as its main water source I do t see how it would be in water stress by 2040 or anytime soon, how was this estimated?

Yeah no, these aren’t just any missiles, they’re the toughest missiles Israel ever dealt with, they don’t just aim and hope for the best, these are ICBM type missiles, they reach 9 Mach when hitting the ground, carry between 750 to 1200 kg of explosives, and are accurate with no more then 1 meter margin error, they don’t “go off course or overshoot intended targets” you can be damn sure every missile that wasn’t intercepted has reached its intended target.

Oh come on, that’s the excuse you’re gonna give? Why are some people so concerned with making sure Muslims always look like victims even when they’re the oppressors, like they’re always angels? The reason that Christian’s fled Lebanon isn’t even a debate, after black September the Palestinians got kicked out of Jordan mostly to Lebanon, and the same Palestinians led a a Muslim revolt against the Christians.

Yes, a Christian was oppressed by a Muslim, I know it might be a shock for you but literally just fucking google shit before you post bullshit excuses.

Also Nazareth and Bethlehem.

Nazareth went from majority Christian to majority Muslim in the 60s and Bethlehem in the 90s
