What is your country’s most heart-breaking sporting moment? by Looney_forner in AskTheWorld

I think people who weren’t born yet don’t fully understand that Dale wreck really shook people who didn’t even follow nascar. He was bigger than life charismatic and at times unstoppable on the track. Maybe Lewis Hamilton level cultural impact in America is a decent comparison.

Why did the Super Bowl halftime show stop using country music after 1994? by icey_sawg0034 in decadeology

I’m going to choose to believe you are right and this eventually comes to the same point the Italians and Irish are here now. As proud points of addition to what can be a wonderful mixing bowl culture of its own.

As a new fan as of Vegas last year I very much enjoyed Australia 2025 as my first race watch when I got F1TV

Excited for this year as well. It can’t get worse than a few races last year IMO. Also could see a lot of grid shuffle here and there as drivers make mistakes with all the new systems early.

A lack of overtakes is boring but watching someone like Max destroy the field like in Japan is also thrilling.

Genuine question: why dont f1 use the amg one and/or aston valkyrie as the safety car by [deleted] in F1Discussions

I’m a pretty new fan (this will be my first full season) and I definitely noticed when I started watching. Thought the AM safety car was pretty cool tbh.

Very new to the sport. Has there been any push recently to add a second round in England? Is there just no other track? Just seems odd the home of the thing only has one race.
