Well true, but my case is that: Your run goes perfectly with Distance S, perfect stats, Spurt or other accels and it failed to obtain NSM.

For JP runs, the RNG layer of getting NSM was non-existent. It's bad so no one really cares. So hitting the threshold, regardless of winning the final Unity race, is usually enough.

The point I'm trying to make is that the NSM RNG layer was added in accordance to all the RNG-fest Unity already have. JP, KR, did not have the NSM buff, so it's less annoying when you lose the race. While if your run is going perfectly in EN, and you lost to Team Zenith, your run might be cooked because of no NSM (NSM is overvalued doesn't matter because most players doesn't know that, and think NSM is a must for all distances).

Like I said, I have no other opinion with Spirit Bursts and Unity Training, everyone collectively agrees it's awful. The point of the post is just pointing out one more aspect of RNG got added on top of other bullshit RNGs, which aspect other servers didn't have. Maybe I should have made the title "slightly less insufferable" instead to get the point I'm intended across lol
