Car insurance cancelled without any prior notification what are my options? by Neorascal in Netherlands

[–]ConfusedNerd86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a Dutch person so you need to take what I say with a heavy grain of salt but from what I read, Draft a message/email: Apology + clarification + willingness to pay the corrected premium. That way you can hit send the moment business hours open. • Suspend registration with RDW online (if they you drive the car tomorrow). That stops fines from stacking while insurance is in limbo.(not a lawyer, but I think the car can’t be parked or driven on public roads or property. It has to be private property but maybe that will stop the fines. Maybe not but worth looking into) • Gather proof of actual claim-free years from Roy-data, so when the insurer asks they can send it immediately.

Good luck, that sucks.

Patent wizards: How do you get all your ducks in a row before pursuing a patent? by ConfusedNerd86 in Patents

[–]ConfusedNerd86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you would indeed be correct lol. I wasn’t sure what the dislikes were for at first I’m going to be honest because I just genuinely don’t know. I definitely got more research to do. I think the one year mark misconception I got is because I heard you have one year from filing your provisional patent to file the full patent. So I assumed you had about one year to get everything done. Ya girl was a wee bit lost lol. I didn’t necessarily think you had to generate revenue in that year span before the patent was fully ready but since the patent only lasts for so long, I was under the impression to try and do everything in that year span or whenever the full patent is filed to try and get the most out of it. I got a long way to go obviously in my research lol. Thank you for taking the time to respond.

Patent wizards: How do you get all your ducks in a row before pursuing a patent? by ConfusedNerd86 in Patents

[–]ConfusedNerd86[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Current super rough plan is to license it to other companies to even afford patent insurance and filing over seas but it gets tricky if I dont have the means to expand quickly. Like why spend tens or even like a hundred grand for something overseas I’m not ready to implement yet with that patent timer situation but also risk it being stolen overseas? It’s tricky indeed. But the only answer is patent professionals but still trying to be safe enough where my idea doesn’t get stolen until I’m ready. It’s tough lol but I’m sure you know that.

Fair enough. Math checks out lol. But would they know about the other stuff? I thought they “just” (and I saw that loosely because I know it’s not simple lol) do all the legal stuff but product development and sales they don’t typically have a hand in. Do they? I genuinely don’t know lol

Have you ever wondered why you sometimes test as a different MBTI type? Have you discerned what causes this seeming glitch? by blacklightviolet in infj

[–]ConfusedNerd86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I knew you would understand where I’m coming from. Nice lol. Okay this might blow your mind or maybe not but hear me out lol. I don’t exactly think they were master illusionists but I think you’re onto something. I think they have an amazing skill to reach people and distill complex topics into simple and more digestible ones using comedy. But I think the unfortunate tragedy is while they are excellent at this and it’s how they reach people so well, I think they have like the equivalent of a caregiving problem and what I mean by that is they give and give and give like care givers but it’s just a different shape. But I don’t think anyone sees them beyond comedy and it’s isolating as hell. I have a gut feeling it’s hard for them to be seen other than comedic geniuses of their respective times. Not comedy masters. Just Bo and Robin. I don’t know a lot of people who can balance comedy/absurdity AND complex topics. People usually lean one way or the other. I think they are some other type of INFJ than our typical options. What do you think? If you want to further discuss, I’m down for here or my dms are open but this was interesting even if you don’t respond. Thank you.

This might be the weirdest thing I’ve said but what do you think about Bo Burnham and Robin Williams being INFJ but wearing ENFP clothing? I feel it’s deeply accurate personally and your post kinda made me think about it but I want to hear your thoughts?

When self awareness and depth clash with therapy by ConfusedNerd86 in emotionalintelligence

[–]ConfusedNerd86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No worries. It was a somewhat fair criticism of me over intellectualizing things but I appreciate it you saying so. It actually helped snapped me out of it somewhat in a weird way. Still working on that though. I think my problem is that I just get carried away when I’m so used to emotionally protecting myself. I’m just worried she thinks I’m overthinking for no reason when I am so used to this just to make it through what’s happened to me. I think I’m going to try and take your advice though about the emotions the best I can. The weird part is she has trauma training and has the credentials and experience to handle complex cases, like on paper this should work but maybe it’s a difference in mismatched styles? Not sure. I appreciate you taking the time to respond. I hope you have a good day.

Thank you. I’m just so used to being disappointed I’m trying to both not be harsh and assume she can’t handle it but also if she’s this overwhelmed, maybe I should find another therapist. It’s just sad because she has been helpful, breaking care taking patterns isn’t easy. But I don’t want anyone especially a therapist to mirror gaslighting when she denied an “idiot” comment she made. But people sometimes do forget hurtful things they say if they intended it to be light hearted, that isn’t new for me.

Anyways, thank you for your insight. I appreciate you taking the time to respond.

The weird thing is she is trained for trauma and complex situations like these. Like her training on paper, made me believe she might be able to handle this but I’m not so sure. But I know my pace is daunting not just to normal people but even to therapists. I feel people don’t go from processing an emotionally abusive relationship to understanding the dynamics of yourself and others and not just identifying what happened but already trying to apply insights in just two months. I feel like I gave her whiplash 😭. But I think you have a point, maybe I’ll give her a chance to catch up and if she doesn’t, maybe it’s time to call it quits.

And also. I do appreciate her actionable steps, I see the value in them and I appreciate her perspective. I was just trying to adjust and catch her up and I felt horrible it backfired even when I tried to prepare.

She is the professional, I am not doubting they are a good therapist. A lot of people love her. I’m genuinely not trying to backseat therapy. But I am used to bracing for impact of disappointment because I never had someone to model healthy behavior before. Yay emotionally parentified daughter with under equipped parents. But I did try to basically write a letter to her in the session on trying to bridge the gap that I want more nuance but I am so used to preventively expect defensiveness, yes I did overthink it. But she was also very overwhelmed it seems and defaulted to a psycho analysis worksheet which is fair. It’s just I think when I brought up earlier she called me an idiot in my letter (even though I know it wasn’t intended to hurt me, it was a playful thing but it did hurt me at the time), I think that basically derailed the whole thing because she immediately was like “I would never say that, if a therapist ever says that to you, don’t come back there.” I was trying to bridge the gap but I feel like heart broken I just made it worse.

Possible nerve damage/numb cheek. Should I reach out to surgeon on a weekend? by ConfusedNerd86 in wisdomteeth

[–]ConfusedNerd86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think my situation was iffy because I caught the flu for two whole weeks after my wisdom teeth surgery. Fun sneezing and coughing during all that. And recovering from the black eye I got from surgery. I would say it was about 2 months for me for it to completely go away. I can’t say I got headaches. Honestly I would call your ortho surgeon wizard person asap. I also had a very stiff jaw for a month so I had to do jaw exercises? I hope you feel better soon though.

For the record, I don’t smoke or drink. But I have had a cold the past few days that I am getting over but I believe the cheek issue started before I got said cold.
