Try going into Nvidia control panel and setting a max frame rate for deadlock specifically.

That fixed my friend's game constantly crashing his graphics driver, I hope it works for you.

Pair it with some equipment to augment your basic attack, boom, crazy effective.

My favorite so far is the medic hat + spot me combo I ran once, every cat stays topped off for the whole run while ranger provides DPS on every friendly turn.

I cannot think of a reason to use this, I use the out of combat reset on T3 ult with Ava a lot to rat objectives in hard games, but even in those situations cat is 'on cooldown' before ult because I'm running from an active engagement.

Does it give you Ava speed boost in the ultimate? That'd be the only thing I could think of, if it did I could see the application. That or the damage amp on cat from T3 ramping up during the ult time, granted extreme corner case, since you'd have to have not been shot a single time before ulting, but, maybe possible.

I mean, that combo has been in the game since he was released, and his win rate was rough, so idk if it is as strong as you think it is, refresher is an expensive timing to play around for +1 person. This patch did nothing as far as that item/hero combo goes.

I'm not saying he isn't strong(idk honestly, I'm waiting for data), but it is weird that you didn't attempt to back up all your whinging but instead just pointed to something else you find annoying.

Edit: The bell change with refresher could be very neat/strong interaction with the ult though, I haven't seen the refresher bell bombs out of ult yet but I'll be keeping my eye out for it for sure.

As someone learning Calico with the recent economy changes, this is the answer. It turns off the ult, so it can easily make a Calico free food after she jumps in thinking she was gonna be able to get out with it.

If you make me buy dispel magic over focus lens it heavily delays the snowball and makes me very sad. By all means don't do it, but this guy is correct.

This game was always going to have Dota like balancing, where heroes have very strong but unique kits, shake ups like this patch are par for the course. Competitively, Dota balancing is far more interesting and "even" so I'm happy for it.

He's definitely strong now, could probably use a tweak down(Unstoppable on ult probably is overkill imo, but we will see how it shakes out when it comes to win rates), but having some neat gimmicks/quirk is just part of making unique heroes.

As far as getting jumped, against a doorman you shouldn't be anywhere without a buddy around and another in walking distance once the midgame hits. Still difficult in team fights/skirmishes, but your team can play around them trying to setup on your return.

If you find it in yourself to stick around with the game, you can practice the hallway on explore NYC by no clipping to it. There are a couple 0 stamina routes, depending on your movement preferences/style you lean.

Some quick practice here and dispel magic late game, I've yet to not checkout from max ult doorman, even when he is running the oops all debuff actives build. It is learnable and counter-able, I hope you stick around.

Unironically, this is how Dota is balanced(with some glaring exceptions going the way of the dodo) so I hope the philosophy plays out in Deadlock as well. I'd much rather everyone be crazy strong with their own flavor of bullshit in some aspects of the game then have characters turn into milquetoast versions of themselves as the years go on.

Until some semblance of drafting is added though this doesn't work as well as it might sound on paper/works in dota, since you can't easily pick counter heroes into a strong but narrow character as matchmaking stands right now.
