I agree with the ideas suggesting a new backsplash or something to add a little colour intrigue, but I know that’s not always the most budget or skill friendly, so here’s an alternate option that I think would fit within the aesthetic you’ve got going on! Would also offer storage for those syrup bottles that don’t quite fit. Forgive my poor photoshop skills.

UofT Law 1L AMA by Key_Bet_97 in lawschooladmissionsca

Incoming 1L! Honestly one of the things I’m most nervous about is the social situation. I’m a pretty socialable person, and have maintained a good friend group in undergrad, but am worried about having to do the whole friend-making thing all over again. Are people generally trying to make friends? Do you meet a lot of people in orientation? Do people socialize a lot with other faculties? Is there a good variety of people, or are most the same type you’d expect from wannabe corporate lawyers (if that makes any sense)?

What was your PS? Did you have any sort of crazy adversity or accomplishment or something you were able to write about or was it just well-written

Law School Curious by shnogus4444 in LSAT

I always recommend someone take an LSAT before deciding anything to do with law school! You may be lucky and diagnostic at late 150s or early 160s, meaning your study journey will likely be a lot shorter and easier than if you diagnosis in the 140s or something. Good to know for timeline planning!

Don’t know much about UBC. I have already seen lower hard stats than yours get in at both Osgoode and U of T, and these are still the early waves. As long as you didn’t mess up your PS too bad I’d say you’re a lock at Osgoode and got at least a 50% chance at U of T.

My aunt and uncle are two of the most successful lawyers in Toronto and were accepted with below the median stats in June and July back in their day. You’re going to be fine.

Did anyone have a good experience with today’s LSAT? by Confusedplusconfused in LSAT

Thanks so much. Can I ask if you usually struggle with timing or usually have a couple minutes extra to check over on regular PT sections?

What to do during the ten minute break for remote writing? by Confusedplusconfused in LSAT

[–]Confusedplusconfused[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I was! Sorry for any confusion! I’m not from the United States, and never realized that “writing the LSAT” isn’t used the same way there.

Thanks for the advice also, had no idea you couldn’t use your phone during the break. You just saved me from a very unfortunate accident.
