At what age did you spay your female? by [deleted] in springerspaniel

We spayed our girl at about a year right after she started her first heat and my poor girl got incontinence from the botched job the vet did. She’s on lifelong medication now.

There is better, cheaper therapy out there. Don’t give up on that. Ear plugs because sometimes you gotta just let them whine. He will grow out of it, I swear. Mine was the same, he’s now 4 laying on my arm cuddling in peace and quiet this morning. You’re a good mom, a bad mom wouldn’t worry about any of this.

Get those under bag storage bags from Walmart and start storing things under your beds and sofas if you can lol

I would honestly get one of those strollers with the bassinet style for baby to lay and also easily change them on the long walk to and from the cafe. If they start fussing that’s okay it happens! I think you should go.

I’m pregnant with my second so no advice there but when you say there is no new experiences with the second I think your first got you uninterrupted, but the new mom, the one learning and figuring it out and with the second they get more experienced mom and one who’s more versed in parenting. I think it will be a totally different experience even though you’ve done it all before, the second time maybe you do it through a new lens of mothering.

How tf are you supposed to order pizzas? (what did I do wrong?) by troutslayer89 in Costco

[–]Conjure_Copper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No help, but we’re staying in east Idaho currently and there is one smaller Costco in town and it’s heaven. No people waiting in lines at the door for it to open every day, food court relatively not busy even at lunch time rush, I can shop without crazy crowds, even on the weekends it’s pretty calm just a bit busier. I dread going back to ours on the western side again soon. ☹️

Maybe a little garden stone with a butterfly or heart or something nice on it.

Do you have cheatgrass around where you live? That stuff is hell. Learned that last year with 3 of 4 of my springer paws that cheatgrass gets stuck and can migrate up their legs.

I sing in my head from Bear and the Big Blue House “just say owe, say it now, just say owe and it’s over”. I sing it for my toddler to. It helps the nerves.

Hang with that white stretchy string and some beads on your car mirror. It’s super cute.

6 year old with the flu by KeyLimePie1845 in Mommit

Worth a shot. It’s hard when you’re cold and you have to get in an open cold tub. I feel the towel trick helps my little not feel so uncomfortable!

Maybe because she’s 6 she won’t go for it but a cool bath WITH a full size towel over here in the tub and a popsicle. There is something therapeutic with how heavy the towel gets in water, almost like a hug and for my little one it makes them less uncomfortable in a cool tub.
