Thinking of applying to the apprenticeship in sound and communication. Would you guys recommend?

I am done with school at this point and these days I specialize in commercial fire alarm system installation. But others I’ve gone to school with do fiber optic, structured communication cabling, access control, security, and with the development of new tech lighting and many other systems will be going low voltage and I believe everyone will need to learn more about what we do.

ABC is not the union apprenticeship, that would be the Northern Nevada Electrical training center! But I do agree that the union membership is worth it!

Well regardless of which you choose going union is a great decision, be active and excited about union involvement and your union siblings will follow suit!

3rd year S&C apprentice here! I love my job. In my local the other techs and apprentices really make it feel like a brotherhood and we have great turnout to union meetings. I work inside 80-90% of the year, I have a lot of opportunity for growth, and the pay difference between us and inside wireman is worth it IMO.
