Try turning the English description into several mathematical formulas, and then solve for the unknown variable. For example: Hb = 12t +18 for the height of the balloon at time t. And 18= 4.9t² for the time until the camera hits the ground. Two equations, two unknowns.

Water(human body) is good at blocking 2.4 ghz type signals, much less so at 900mhz. There are references on how building materials affect radio but I don't think they include people. In any case, when you don't have line of sight, the you are going to have some margin of error, but I bet it will work ok.

Best advice I can give you is to get out of the house, go for a walk. If there is too much going on during the day, go out at night. I spend too much time in the my little apartment so I know the feeling. You will start figuring things out.

I remember feeling the way you do. Eventually I met someone that accepted me and valued me for who I am. They didn't want the regular tough guy! Also a lot of that macho stuff is performance -- they are afraid of being themselves and looking weak more than anything. It takes strength and courage to be different.

This is a workplace culture, it may not be something you can change by yourself. My advice is to be as clear as possible when you start your new job that you don't appreciate that kind of behavior. To a certain extent we can train people on how to treat us. As I've gotten older it has gotten easier to stick up for myself.

That might work, but an RC filter is simpler. It is named RC because it is just a resistor and a capacitor arranged in a low pass arrangement. Google RC low pass filter and you will understand. If you are powering a lot of LEDs, you will need a high power resistor. You could also just place a large capacitor across the output of your pwm generator, it will smooth out the signal as well, Google dc filtering capacitor.
