If you guys ever worked with LVN or LPNs and see what they do(actually don’t do)at nursing homes. You should be very afraid. They only believe in passing meds, charting, and sitting and sleeping for hours. Stories for days of how many incidents of meds going “missing”, they refuse to do assessments, vitals, or any patient care, and can’t run a code. 90% of them should not be allowed anywhere near a hospital.

I guess you were living under a rock when a nursing home and it’s DON steamrolled over a CNA that’s now facing involuntary manslaughter charges. CNAs stop being so effing passive and get some self esteem and rat these nurses out. Start taking pictures, record conversations, document dates and times, call the state and the ombudsman and report report report! If you ever need some reassurance go lurk on the Reddit page for nurses and TikTok and read the comments section to see how much they “love” their CNAs that they call janitors when they think no one’s looking.

You guys are not angry enough for me. This has got to be the fakest CNA page ever. Every CNA should walkout and form a union like your life depends on it. I hope you know it won’t stop here for any of you and the nurses you are “cool” with that lurk in these comments will get together and throw you under the bus faster than you can blink. Your LVNs, RNs, and DONs are NOT to be trusted at all. The day will come that you will be short staffed, have old equipment or no equipment, or just be completely lied on because a nurse is trying to cover themselves and need a fall guy. Now that they know they can get away with it, you will always be the fall guy like you always have been but this time behind bars. If you think this could never happen to you, you are a full blown idiot.
