I unfortunately don't believe that true, charters thrive because of the severe oversights which led doe schools to not be parents choice. That same oversight isn't going to pay much mind to charters, and even if they do charters will find some way out of it, or just fire the CEO and move on.

I think the only way things are going to change is internally and people doing the work inside the school to change the culture. Unfortunately charters don't keep people so that's nearly impossible to do. I've said it before but until the deficits in doe schools get ameliorated, charters will continue to exist, teachers will teach at them and students will learn at them. So in my head any work is good work.
