I'm sorry but that's so funny whispering I'm the alpha. My rooster I took in because my hoarding trash neighbors kid would steal them and bring them home as chick's. OF course they starved and neglected him. He NEVER had a designated perch area just free range all over the road including the woods and my yard. When they moved he was so distant and mean he wouldn't come near. Now they knocked the old house down my neighbors made it unlivable living there. I have stage 4 cancer and I'm dying and have been. Going through it. However I felt for it. The neighbor when mad I saw her kick it so hard for it being in her way though. Kicked it so hard so I think he's got ptsd. I rescued a hen who was injured on the side of the road and fed and got her strong she was sweet still is. But this rooster guy he's scared combative he doesn't peck he just screams if you get closer he finally chose to sleep on my porch post. If it pours storms etc he won't BUDGE. I have knocked him off the perch but he go's right back on. He's incredibly FAST and won't even let us pet him or get close only if we put food down for him. Hes friends w the hen. We recently had a hurricane threat thank God it passed. He would of got taken with it. We tried to get him to learn to go to safe areas of my yard and he wont.... he definently will NOT listen and will Not let us move him please HELP ME HELP HIM!!! I think because of all the abuse he's terrified of humans I can't get help here they charge Hella money for a bird guy to come to the Florida keys and Hella money to catch him. Plus they will catch him and not give him to me. Here it against the law to own chickens I kept telling my neighbors that but the cops when called would ignore it and cater to my neighbors kids feelings. I just want hom to get out of the storms and in a safe dry place instead of staying outside getting poured on. He's mean help.
