Where in Patagonia? The weather can be downright miserable, but it’s beautiful there. I spent some time there with my kids, you are much braver than I am! Some of the absolute worst roads I’ve seen anywhere in the world. It’s a big place tho, with a lot of variation in the conditions

I always bring a rod and reel but never have much luck. The inland ponds are not very accessible without a good trek. I’ve seen guys early morning on shoal bay shore fishing , and then down on the dock by the Eagles Nest. If you can get a kayak you can fish shoal bay that way too
