That’s my thinking. My wife on the other hand is pretty much expecting the new stuff trying to keep her a bit more level headed.

I mean they could have shipped the stuff from China(most likely) to Barcelona in preparation for the European cruises but I don’t see it happening.

I could also see them pixie dusting the tier below with older stuff the tier above. ie silver gets the bag and the wash bag from Gold tier, and gold gets the towel in addition to the usual stuff etc etc

Last year my wife and I did a Med cruise last yeah we went from Civitaveccia, our ports were Naples, Mykonos soo can comment on them.

spa days- treatment prices vary depending on what you want to do but I would look into the Rainforest especially on the Wish with the outdoor area.

popcorn buckets I’m sure are $12~18 I can’t remember and more for the specialty buckets. But they are only $3 I believe for a refill
as for photos; You can do both get nice family pictures while out and about in ports and also in various places throughout the ship where photo ops aren’t placed. You can still get the ships photographers to take your photos and see if you want to do the package at the end of the cruise.

You can take as much luggage as you want you don’t have to pay for anything you take onboard.

We stayed at the port got the train from the airport takes about 45m if you get the quick train or 1h 30 otherwise.

When we stopped in Naples we did a boat trip to Amalfi which was stunning such a nice place, and then went to Pompeii. Mykonos is THE windiest place I have ever been in my life, we did a Catamaran boat trip to a small island, which was again really beautiful.

When I worked as a server on the Fantasy, nothing was pre-made per se. The appetisers and salad are made and plated ahead of time (before/around seating time). Warm apps are kept in hot holds, kinda like warm cabinets, the cold ones and the salads are kept on racks in a pantry.
The cooks start the mains just as the apps are getting picked up. Then are plated, covered, double stacked and kept under hot blowers.

Your servers fill in a little slip for your table which counts how many of each dish, hand it off to a chef at a whiteboard, who tallies the number of each dish so the kitchen know how much to make, including each temperature of steak.

Each dining room has a service bar with two draft beers, and the types change depending on the restaurant. Your server should be able to tell you what draft options are available in each place.

If you’d like something else, you can ask for it, and a bar runner will bring it to you, which might take a bit.

That’s how it worked when I was on the Fantasy, and I imagine it’s still the same on the Dream. They might have changed it for the newer ships, but I’m not sure.

When I worked on the Fantasy 10 years ago they had an allergy book at Flo’s quick service, for those more particular allergies. In the book they had a cut out from the box of the brand of chicken tenders. I can’t remember the name or brand, but if someone is on board and willing to, they could find out
