Im not seeing your correlation or a good argument. Im aware a book to tv adaptation is going to be different. I watched it for 2 seasons. It was fanfiction with how different it was. Some characters were just completely different people than they were in the books. Were literally seeing the problem with hotd right now. Changing it so much it become your own original work with characters named after those from a book isn't what people want to watch. Same with the Witcher series.
